Died Oct. 16, 1978 in Charlotte at the age of 82. He was born in Bath, Michigan on Aug. 29, 1896. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice; 1 son Max; and 1 daughter, Mrs. Dale (Lois) REYNOLDS both of Dimondale; 2 brothers, Dean of Laingsburg, and Lester of Lansing; 1 sister, Mrs. Florence CLARK of Mason; 2 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He was a World War I Veteran, stationed at Kelly Field with the Air Force. He was a member of Dimondale American Legion Post No. 515 and affiliated with the Dimondale American Legion Post United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at the Berl Field Funeral Home, Dimondale, Friday, Oct. 20, at 2 p.m. Rev. John Reistow of the Dimondale United Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Dimondale Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society throught the funeral home. The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 18 & 19.

Funeral services will be held at the Berl Field Funeral Home, Dimondale, Friday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. Rev. John Reistow of the Dimondale United Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Dimondale Cemetery. Pallbearers are John CARNAHAN, Robert DeLONG, David GRABLE, Charles HETRICK, Jerry TOLLES, and Delmar WAGNER. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home. The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thurs. Oct. 19.

Hazen ABEL

Hazen Abel, 82, of 123 Jefferson, Dimondale, died Oct. 16 in Charlotte.
He was born in Bath on August 29, 1896. He was a World War I Veteran, stationed at Kelly Field with the Air Force. He was a member of Dimondale American Legion Post No. 515 and affiliated with the Dimondale American Legion Post United Methodist Church.
