-Match 1: Big Show & Kane (w/Tori) vs Big Bossman & Viscera
X-Pac hit Kane with a chair and gave him an X-factor. Viscera then
pinned Kane after a big splash. Tori confronted X-Pac, who responded by
giving her a karate kick.
-A recap of the history involving Test and Stephanie McMahon aired.
-DX came out, and HHH was wearing a flower on his jacket. He said Vince crossed the line with his attack last week. He reminded Vince of the consequences of his actions (footage aired of Vince ramming DX's limo on last week's show). He then talked about the wedding, and said there would be no wedding. Vince McMahon then came out and hyped his match with HHH at Armageddon. He then ordered HHH to face Test later in the show and ordered X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws to face Mankind, The Rock, and a third partner. He concluded by threatening to fire any of them if they got involved in the wedding.
-Al Snow, who was talking to Head, said he wanted to be Mankind and Rock's tag team partner.
-Match 2: Matt Hardy (w/Jeff Hardy & Terri) vs Edge (w/Christian)
Edge won the match with a spear. This was a good match that briefly saw
all four men in action.
-Footage aired of Stephanie McMahon's bachelorette party, and she appeared to be drinking heavily, at least for someone with her type of persona.
-After a commercial, Chyna came out for her match with Chris Jericho. She said she wanted to make Jericho suffer. Jericho came out and said he couldn't fight her since he got a concussion from her hitting him in the head with a hammer on Smackdown! (footage of this aired). Jericho said he had a terrible Thanksgiving as a result of the incident and vowed to end Chyna's career at Armageddon. Miss Kitty came from behind and blasted Jericho with a fire extinguisher.
-More footage from the bachelorette party aired. Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young were hilarious as usual.
-Jim Ross promoted the issue of Entertainment Weekly which had Steve Austin and Ivory on the cover (Ivory?!@?).
-Match 3: Godfather (w/6 ho's) vs Steve Blackman
Blackman won after a charging kick in a nothing match.
-Backstage, the Acolytes were playing cards with the Dudleys.
-More footage aired from the bachelorette party. Mae Young was doing a loose version of the DX crotch chop as everyone else was dancing.
-Mankind and Al Snow were conversing in the back, and Mankind said Snow's idea wouldn't work. Snow again expressed his hatred for The Rock.
-Match 4: Too Cool (w/Rikishi Fatu) vs Hardcore & Crash Holly
Hardcore Holly said that Too Cool were not superheavyweights. He then
dissed Rikishi and his ass. Rikishi attacked Crash early on. Grand
Master Sexy ended up pinning Crash after a top rope legdrop. Rikishi
flattened Hardcore afterwards and then danced with Too Cool in another
hilarious spot.
-More footage from the bachelorette party aired. A stripper performed, and Mae Young went crazt and even touched the stripper, who danced right in front of her. Young hugged the stripper and dragged him out of the room.
-Test was shown backstage preparing for his match with HHH.
Match 5: HHH vs Test
A referee came out wearing a Vince McMahon mask. The Stooges were
watching the match backstage. The ref refused to count a pin attempt by
HHH. Shane McMahon came out and KOed HHH with a chair. Test then pinned
HHH after a top rope elbow in a solid match. Test needs to develop a tad
more personality, but otherwise is showing signs of becoming a big star
within a year or two.
-At the bachelorette party, Moolah and Young were staggering around. The stripper offered Stephanie McMahon a shot of hard liquor, and she reluctantly accepted and drank it. More on this later.
-HHH told police the ref was Vince McMahon, and told them to arrest him.
-Michael Cole introduced "Barbara Bush", the EMT who gave Miss Kitty the heimlich maneuver on Smackdown! and was subsequently stripped of her shirt by Ivory. She challenged Ivory to an evening gown match, and Ivory came out. She said Bush was stupid and wanted to make friends with the audience of perverts. Ivory then took off her jacket and ripped Bush's shirt off again.
-Backstage, the police questioned the Stooges about Vince's whereabouts during the HHH-Test match. They said he was with them, and actually in their bathroom when the match was going on. This was also hilarious as the Stooges went into fairly graphic detail about the stench that eminated from the bathroom.
-Linda McMahon, the bridesmaids, and the other women involved in the wedding were getting ready in the back.
-Match 6: Val Venis vs Kurt Angle
Angle got mad at the fans, saying they would rather cheer for a porn star
like Val than a hero like himself. During the match, British Bulldog ran
in and crotched Venis on the top rope. Venis briefly attacked Bulldog,
who hit him with a chair. Angle won with a reverse fireman's carry slam
in a solid match.
-Backstage, the men involved in the wedding were getting ready for it.
-Backstage, Snow was trying to talk sense to Mankind. He criticized The Rock, who then appeared where they were. With his hilariously indignant tone, he ran down Snow, who he simply called "Al" as if he was a worthless jabroni who simply set up for the events. As contrived as this segment was, in terms of sketch comedy it was as good as it gets!
-Match 7: X-Pac & New Age Outlaws vs The Rock, Mankind & Kane
Al Snow was talking to Head in the back, saying that Mankind needed him.
Snow ran in and attacked DX, causing Mankind's team to be DQed. Snow and
Rock fought, and Rock gave Snow the people's elbow. Mankind then tended
to Snow.
-More footage aired of the Acolytes-Dudleys card game. Faarooq made fun of Buh Buh Ray, who took a cut at the Public Enemy.
-The women involved in the wedding were getting ready in the back.
-They showed the men involved in the weddding along with Test.
-The card game was then showed again. Buh Buh Ray thought he won and bet all his money and then a few of his team's possessions. The Acolytes attacked the Dudleys and a wild brawl ensued.
-DX were shown backstage. They were laughing and appeared to be up to something.
-After a commercial, the wedding ceremony began. Everyone came out, including many of the face wrestlers. Test came out to his own theme music, which truly made the atmosphere of this "wedding" unique. After they got to the point in the ceremony where the priest said "(If these two should not be joined in marriage speak now or forever hold your peace)", HHH's music began to play. He appeared at the entrance and said there was some footage he needed to show everyone. The footage was then shown: HHH arrived at a drive-thru wedding place in Las Vegas, and then the camera showed Stephanie in the car next to HHH. She was unconscious, and it appeared the liquor offered by the stripper was a way to trick her into leaving the bachelorette party (secretly) with HHH. HHH paid $40.00 and the ceremony took place. Stephanie had to speak, but was unable to. Instead, HHH turned his face to her and uttered her lines in a female voice. They then drove off with their marriage having been made "official". Meanwhile, Test was crying in the ring. HHH lambasted Vince and company, and Stephanie melted in her father's arms to conclude the show.
-Overall, I would call this a "good" show, but not a great one until the end. The wrestling was for the most part nothing special, but the comedy was fantastic and the wedding storyline was so well-plotted. For the first time, it became obvious that the lack of Steve Austin's presence hurt the overall show.
-Most unique signs in the crowd:
"Poon Tang (with arrows pointing down to a picture of a pie)"
"Peter North Stunt Double"
"Thomas likes boys"
"Pimpin is e-z in LA"
"2 Much Brahma For Yo Mama"
-Uses of foul language:
"Sonofabitch": 1
Asshole chants: 2
Bleeped expressions: 3
