Great Sasuke, Gran Hamada, Gran Naniwa, Super Delfin & Masato Yakushiji vs Dick Togo, Taka Michinoku, Men's Teoh, Shiryu & Shoichi Funaki 12/16/96
This was a super match with tone of incredible moves and sequences. It was just a notch below the 10/10/96 all-time classic, but was still one of the two or three greatest matches in Michinoku Pro history. The match was heated from the start. The heels did their elbow sequence on Yakushiji early on. The first half of the match saw the usual mat wrestling, high spots and double teaming, and the execution was super the entire time. Yakushiji gave Teoh his rolling headscissors from the ring under the bottom rope to the floor. Yakushiji was great doing his high spots against Togo. The heels worked over the faces with many double team and triple team moves. Naniwa gave Shiryu a great backdrop driver for a near fall. Shiryu and Togo spike piledrove Sasuke for a near fall. Teoh gained a near fall on Sasuke with a powerbomb. Shiryu gave Yakushiji a brainbuster for a near fall. Yakushiji hit a spin kick on Funaki. Sasuke gave Togo and Shiryu both an in-ring quebrada for a cool near fall. Shiryu hit Sasuke with a flip tope through the ropes to the floor. Teoh dropped Naniwa on his head with a backdrop driver. Naniwa gave Teoh a spinning doctor bomb for a near fall. Hamada then gave Taka a great top rope huracanrana for a near fall. Crowd heat was at a fever pitch by this point.
