Devil Masami, Cutie Suzuki, Mayumi Ozaki & Hiromi Yagi vs Dynamite Kansai, Hikari Fukuoka, Candy Okutsu & Fusayo Nouchi 4/2/95
The JWP girls were all at the top of thei game, putting on perhaps the most action packed match of the legendary multipromotional Weekly Pro event at the Tokyo Dome. The opening segment saw fairly simple moves, but with everyone working at a fast pace. Crowd heat picked up when Masami and Kansai faced off. Masami's team gave Kansai a quadruple boot to the chest in one of many neat spots. Kansai and Fukuoka took turns dominating the youngster Yagi, with Kansai being especially brutal. Okutsu gave Yagi an impressive giant swing with about 18 revolutions. Masami then gave Nouchi a giant swing of over 20 revolutions. Ozaki powerbombed Nouchi for an early near fall. She and Kansai then had a solid exchange with Ozaki applying a Fujiwara armbar. Kansai fought back with a twisting Saito suplex on Suzuki. Fukuoka gave Suzuki a rolling cradle for a near fall. Suzuki gained a near fall on Fukuoka with a dragon suplex. Suzuki and Ozaki gave Fukuoka a double impact with Ozaki doing a flip tackle off the top and scoring a near fall. Ozaki gained another near fall on Fukuoka with a powerbomb but missed her top rope splash. Fukuoka moonsaulted Ozaki for a near fall. Kansai and Ozaki had an exchange ending when Ozaki gained a near fall with her tequila sunrise suplex. Kansai and Masami traded the upper hand before lariating each other. After a Masami powerbomb and a Suzuki/Ozaki double top rope headbutt, Yagi top rope splashed Kansai for a cool near fall. Masami's team gave each of their oponents simultanious top rope planchas in another neat spot. Yagi and Okutsu had a fine exchange of moves and near falls, including a top rope northern lights superplex by Okutsu. Masami gained a near fall on Kansai late in the match. Masami went to superplex Fukuoka but Kansai caught her and gave her a splash mountain off the second rope for the pin at 17:24. Lots of unique spots that actually made solid sense within the context of the match. ****1/2
