1. Louie Spicolli vs Devon Storm (w/Damien Kane & Lady Alexandra)

Storm rammed Spicolli into the corner and hit a second rope victory roll. Storm gave Spicolli a Japanese armdrag and dropkicked him out of the ring. Storm hit a somersault plancha but Spicolli recovered and scored with some chairshots to Storm's leg. Spicolli placed Storm's leg on the barricade and delivered more chairshots. Back in the ring Spicolli slammed Storm's leg into the mat twice and stomped it. Spicolli kicked Storm's leg in the corner and chopped him. Spicolli gave Storm a short clothesline and continued to attack his leg. Spicolli went for a figure 4 but Storm shoved him out of the ring with his foot. Storm kicked Spicolli through the ropes and whipped him into the barricade. Storm hit Spicolli in the head with a chair twice. He punched Spicolli and clotheslined him. Spicolli missed a clothesline and Storm jumped off the middle rope with a leg lariat (not quite a spin kick since there was no spin) for a near fall. Storm jumped off the top rope and gave Spicolli a rolling neck snap for a near fall. Storm telegraphed a backdrop and Spicolli kicked him. Spicolli gave Storm a Death Valley driver and pinned him at 5:44 (announced at 6:24). Just a solid, standard match with no lackluster moments but nothing that really stood out. Storm's high spots were great in 1996, but he was much less polished than he is now (relatively speaking) so they didn't have as much impact. Spicolli looked in much better shape than his earlier ECW appearences. *3/4

2. Taz (w/Bill Alfonso & Team Taz) vs Tommy Dreamer (w/Beulah)

Taz threw Dreamer out of the ring before the bell and whipped him into the barricade. Taz repeatedly rammed Dreamer into the barricade and hit him with a chair. Taz whipped Dreamer into the barricade on the other side of the ring. Back in the ring Dreamer caught Taz with a drop toehold and hiptossed him but sold his ribs in the process. Dreamer took Taz down and applied an armbar but Taz countered with a headscissors. Dreamer escaped and applied a headlock but Taz countered and applied an armbar. Taz took Dreamer down with a headlock and applied an armlock as well. Taz gave Dreamer a judo throw (I think) for a near fall. Taz telegraphed a clothesline and Dreamer gave him a low blow. Dreamer suplexed Taz for a near fall and applied an armbar. Dreamer countered a backdrop with a sunset flip for a near fall. Taz missed a clothesline and Dreamer back suplexed him. Dreamer sold his ribs and Taz stomped his ribs. Taz snapmared Dreamer and applied a chinlock/leglock combo (not quite an STF) and then stomped his ribs, which were shown to be taped. Taz caught Dreamer and gave him a T-bone suplex. Taz gave Dreamer a modified northern lights suplex and applied a modified bow and arrow with a bridge to avoid a pin. Taz whipped Dreamer hard into the corner and threw him out of the ring. Taz whipped Dreamer into the barricade and Dreamer flew into the front row. Team Taz held Dreamer as Taz hit him with a chair twice. Dreamer fought back and whipped Taz into the ringpost but missed a chairshot and hit the post. Dreamer caught Taz on the rebound with a chairshot to the head. Back in the ring Dreamer bulldogged Taz on a chair for a near fall. Dreamer went for a piledriver but Taz countered and slammed him to the mat. Taz went for a belly to belly superplex but Dreamer held on and shoved Taz to the mat. Dreamer went to the top rope and dove onto Team Taz and ringside. Dreamer placed a table against the bottom rope on the apron and knocked it into Team Taz with a baseball slide kick. Dreamer then drove a chair Alfonso was holding into his face with another baseball slide kick. Taz caught Dreamer and folded him with a released German suplex. Taz went for a chairshot but the ref took the chair from him. Taz then gave the ref a head-and-arm Tazplex. Taz propped a table against the corner and belly to belly suplexed Dreamer through the table. Taz went for a Tazmission but Dreamer countered with a low mule kick. Taz countered a DDT with a northern lights suplex and applied the Tazmission. Beulah pleaded with Taz to release the hold but Alfonso confronted her and held her at bay. Terry Gordy went after Alfonso but the Eliminators attacked Gordy and gave him total elimination. Brian Lee came in and applied an Oriental spike on Gordy. Numerous wrestlers tried to make the save but Taz, Lee and the Eliminators fought them off and stood supreme in the ring. The match was a no-contest apparently, after about 10:30. Yeah the non-ending didn't help, but it was acceptable given the climate of the match itself. Great intensity on the part of both men made for a fun match fron start to finish. Both men worked to their strengths, Taz tossing out the suplexes and Dreamer taking lots of punishment. Dreamer sold his ribs well and Taz's offense was perfectly suited for such an attack. Pretty much the prefect match laid out for these two. If you've only seen Taz and Dreamer in WWE, you should check this match out to see them in their element. ***
