1. Shoot Fight: Taz (w/Bill Alfonso) vs Little Guido
Taz blocked a takedown and took down Guido with a keylock armbar. Guido took Taz down and applied a legbar but Taz countered with a legbar of his own. Guido landed a couple kicks but Taz blocked a third and gave him a legdrag (not quite a dragon screw). Taz applied a modified bow and arrow. Guido escaped Tazs grip but Taz clotheslined him. Taz gave Guido an armwringer and an overhead suplex. Guido mounted Taz from behind and applied a sleeper but Taz tossed him to the mat. Taz applied a cross armbreaker but Guido quickly reached the ropes. They traded German suplex counters. Taz dropped Guido face first on the mat, then threw him back in a wheelbarrow suplex. Taz gave Guido a T-bone suplex and applied a Tazmission for the submission win at 4:13. Fun little match with a nice display of technical wrestling. Kurt Angle did color commentary for this match, which would make for an interesting anecdote given their match as Tazs WWE debut at the 2000 Royal Rumble. **
2. ECW TV Title: Shane Douglas (c) w/Francine vs Cody Michaels
Michaels gave Douglas an atomic drop and a flying forearm for a near fall. Michaels slammed Douglas and hit a top rope dropkick for a near fall. Michaels slammed Douglas and gave him a flying bodypress for another near fall. Michaels backdropped Douglas over the top rope to the floor and knocked him into the barricade with a baseball slide kick. Michaels hit Douglas with a chair and sat Douglas on the chair at ringside. Michaels then dove off the apron onto Douglas for a pop and a near fall. Michaels telegraphed a backdrop and Douglas gave him a single arm DDT. Douglas tombstoned Michaels. Douglas belly to belly suplexed Michaels for the pin to retain the title. 3:32 aired, and given who was involved this was really fun to watch. Michaels showed great fire and fans bought into some of his near falls as a result.
3. Chris Candido vs Spike Dudley
Candido turned a headlock into a hammerlock and took Spike down. Candido elbowsmashed Spike. Spike turned a headlock into a hammerlock but Candido countered and took him down with a headlock. Spike headlocked Candido and they did a criss cross. Spike gave Candido a tilt-a-whirl headscissors but missed a clothesline and Candido dropped him on his head with a released German suplex. Candido whipped Spike hard into the corner and suplexed him. Candido snapmared Spike and gave him a power legdrop. Candido dropped Spike gut first across the top rope and punched him off the apron. Candido gave Spike a great top rope powerbomb for the pin at 3:25. Fans loved Candidos return to ECW and he looked sharp. Another good short match. *3/4
4. ECW World Title: Sandman (c) vs Too Cold Scorpio
Scorpio applied an armbar and legdropped Sandmans arm. Sandman rolled up Scorpio. Scorpio took Sandman down and elbowsmashed his leg. Scorpio kneedropped Sandmans leg and applied a half crab but Sandman reached the ropes. They traded punches. Sandman threw Scorpio out of the ring. Scorpio grabbed a chair and Sandman grabbed his cane. They put their weapons down and embraced but Scorpio gave Sandman a couple kneelifts. Scorpio whipped Sandman head first into the chair in the corner. Scorpio gave Sandman a jumping kick for a near fall. Scorpio elbowsmashed Sandman and gave him a kneelift. Scorpio superkicked Sandman and hit him with a couple cane shots. Sandman elbowed Scorpio but Scorpio hit him before he could get the cane. Scorpio whipped Sandman into the corner but missed a dropkick. Sandman missed a cane shot and Scorpio superkicked him. Scorpio side slammed Sandman and gave him a top rope legdrop for a near fall. Scorpio hit a moonsault for a near fall and kicked Sandman. Sandman caught Scorpio on the top rope with a cane shot. Sandman then gave Scorpio a top rope huracanrana (the first ever Heinekenrana!) for a pop. Scorpio powerslammed Sandman but missed a tumbleweed legdrop and Sandman pinned him at 6:02. An anticlimactic finish, and a very sudden one, to a disappointing match. This never came across as a major title match even though the work was solid. The Heinekenrana was something to see at the time, though. *1/2
