Lynn attempted a tombstone but Credible countered with that’s incredible. Credible gave Lynn a spinning DDT and pinned him at 9:15. Very good match without some of the more spectacular bumps or creative spots Credible would become more famous for. ***

Storm and Candido traded headlock takedowns early. Storm won a quick exchange with a dropkick. Storm hiptossed Candido and gave him a huracanrana followed by an armdrag. Storm applied an armbar. Storm crotched Candido on the top rope but Candido recovered and gave him a top rope powerbomb for the pin after about 14 minutes (12:00 aired). A very good match that wasn’t quite as smooth as the previous match but this had more spectacular spots. ***1/4
3. Tommy Dreamer & Beulah McGillicutty vs Rob Van Dam & Bill Alfonso
Dreamer attacked Van Dam before the bell, gave him a low blow and hit a cactus clothesline over the top rope to the floor. Dreamer dropped Van Dam neck first on the barricade and dropped him crotch first onto the barricade as well. Dreamer dove off the top rope and hit Van Dam with a chair at ringside. Dreamer placed a chair in front of and one in back of Van Dam on the canvas as Van Dam was in a sitting position. He gave Van Dam a neck snap onto the front chair, and Van Dam then bounced back and hit his head on the other chair in a really creative spot. Dreamer launched off a chair onto Van Dam in the corner and Van Dam fell forwards head first into the chair. Dreamer went for a chairshot but the ref took the chair away. Van Dam dove off the second rope but Dreamer moved and Van Dam gave the ref a Van Daminator for a pop. Dreamer DDTd Van Dam and hit a top rope splash. Sabu interfered and Alfonso placed a chair on each side of Dreamer’s head. Van Dam dove off the second rope with a dropkick on one side and Sabu hit a sliding kick on the other side. Van Dam dropkicked a chair into Dreamer’s face in the corner as Sabu and Alfonso brought a table into the ring. Sabu placed Dreamer on the table. Van Dam and Sabu drove Dreamer through the table with a top rope splash and top rope legdrop from opposite corners. After about 6 minutes, Van Dam and Sabu left the ring and some wrestlers checked on Dreamer’s condition at ringside. Alfonso and Beulah then squared off. Beulah took out a cookie sheet, Alfonso turned and punched it, and Beulah hit Alfonso with the sheet for a pop. Beulah threw Alfonso out of the ring and whipped him into the barricade. Meanwhile, Alfonso was bleeding buckets from the cookie sheet shot. Beulah whipped Alfonso over the barricade into the crowd. Beulah went to hit Alfonso with a frying pan but Alfonso gave her a low blow. Alfonso then gave her a legdrop to the crotch as wrestlers at ringside cheered Beulah on. Alfonso gave Beulah a suplex/slam of sorts. Beulah countered a suplex attempt with a DDT for a near fall. Alfonso missed a clothesline and Beulah gave him one of her own. Beulah landed a chop in the corner but Alfonso returned the favor. Alfonso went to the top rope but Beulah crotched him and hung him upside down in the corner. Beulah placed a chair on Alfonso’s face and hit a great baseball slide kick in the corner for a pop. Beulah went to the top rope but Alfonso caught her. Alfonso went for a powerbomb but Beulah countered with a huracanrana and pinned him after about another six minutes. By no means was Alfonso vs Beulah any good technically, but it didn’t have to be. Fans popped for everything they did, especially some of Beulah’s spots. The fact that their segment somehow made one forget about the first 6 minutes (Van Dam vs Dreamer) really said something, because Van Dam and Dreamer seemed to be on their way to a potential **** match on their own with lots of hot and violent spots. This is a tough match to rate because it was like two completely distinct matches in one. I could see any rating from ** to **** given to this match, and I’ll place it in the middle, although it was perhaps the most enjoyable match not just of this TV show, but of the entire card. ***
