1. Giant Baba, Haruka Eigen & Stan Hansen vs Kimala 2, Jun Izumida & Tamon Honda
Honda was dominated early. There was some lame comedy involving Eigen and Kimala. Baba no-sold Honda’s barrage of strikes and applied an armbar. Eigen teased doing a plancha. Eigen and Kimala exchanged weak chops. Izumida and Honda double teamed Hansen but Hansen then easily tackled both men. Izumida slammed Baba for a near fall. Kimala dropkicked Baba for a near fall. Honda gave Baba a lariat. Kimala gained a near fall on Baba with a big splash. Eigen stomped Kimala’s feet. Kimala gained a near fall on Hansen with a clothesline. Baba booted Izumida and Hansen pinned him at 11:29 after a lariat. A terrible match. DUD
2. Steve Williams, Johnny Ace & Johnny Smith vs Kenta Kobashi, Takao Omori & Maunakea Mossman
Ace dominated Mossman as footage began. Smith applied a Boston crab on Mossman and suplexed him for a near fall. Ace dropkicked Mossman in the corner for a near fall. Williams also overpowered Mossman but missed a corner splash. Mossman landed some kicks on Williams. Ace gained a near fall on Mossman after a couple lariats. Mossman fought back with a float-over DDT on Ace. Kobashi got the better of Ace and gave him an ax kick. Ace gave Kobashi a lariat and Williams powerslammed him for a near fall. Kobashi threw a bunch of chops at Williams. Williams gained a near fall on Kobashi with a doctor bomb. Kobashi countered a backdrop driver and gained a near fall on Williams. Omori spin kicked Williams but Williams fought back with a spinebuster for a near fall. Smith snap suplexed Omori and hit a top rope dropkick. Smith and Omori hit simultaneous lariats. Mossman landed some kicks on Smith and gave him a Vader bomb. Mossman gave Smith a second rope moonsault. Smith gained a near fall on Mossman with a cradle suplex. Ace hit a top rope clothesline on Mossman and gave him a cobra clutch suplex. A six way fight broke out. Ace gave Mossman a rocker dropper for a near fall. Ace pinned Mossman at 18:17 after a doomsday device (10:52 aired). Little heat early, but overall a good match with Mossman showing potential again. Williams was the star but Smith’s work was sharp as well. ***
