Mitsuharu Misawa, Toshiaki Kawada & Kenta Kobashi vs Jumbo Tsuruts, Akira Taue & Masanobu Fuchi 4/20/91
This was the typical great All Japan match with the great spots and drama. It was perhaps the best 6 man tag match in All Japan history, which speaks volumes because the promotion churned out one great 6 man tag after another in the early 1990's. Fuchi dropkicked Kobashi in the knee in a trademark spot. Tsuruta applied a half crab on Kobashi for great fan heat. Tsuruta and Fuchi continued their assault of Kobashi's knee, and Taue slamed Kobashi's knee on the ringside barricade. Tsuruta and Fuchi continued to dominated Kobashi for a lengthy stretch and then Taue applied a figure four leglock on Kobashi. Kobashi suplexed Fuchi but was unable to tag out. Taue continued to weaken Kobashi's knee until Kawada tagged in. Kawada launched a spirited attack on Fuchi but Fuchi mounted a comeback against Misawa. Tsuruta scored a great near fall on Misawa with a jumping knee and another with a powerbomb. Taue tried to get Misawa to submit to a backbreaker. Misawa gave Taue a tiger driver for a near fall. Great match with the old style psychology working to perfection with the Korakuen Hall crowd. ****3/4
