Hi everyone!
Whew - just stopping in for a minutes relaxation on the
Couch. Its been a busy old day for me. Nothing majorly exciting happening
though. I have lots of posts to catch up on as I was avoiding the internet
yesterday in case I saw who was the ultimate Survivor as it was aired here in
Australia hours after the USA.
I had my very first driving lesson on a Manual (stick shift)
yesterday. In Tasmania you basically can get either manual or automatic license
and when I did mine I chose auto. So here I am 14 years later driving around
with L plates. Apparently my test won't be as gruelling as the first time. I
just have to show I can use the gears. I have my second lesson in half an hour.
Send me some purkle vibes if you can so I don't stall the car! LOL

Actually we had more this year than in the last several...

again!" Not currently, we had a day in the (dry) high 90's last week. This

I have the plastic white uni (very cute with all the
flashing lights in the mane) plus all of the original plushie neopets EXCEPT
the white uni as all of the WalMarts were sold out! And all the plushie ones I

What Dali neglected to mention is that I manage the PCJR
Pixies. Only the Jr's tho. I like the rest of you are still in the dark as to
whom the APC Pixies are...other then the one's I have my own personal
suspecions about. I do have to mention a huge thank you to the APC Pixies. They
have been so helpful in assisting me in getting the PCJR Pixie's off the
ground. The Jr's can always use help!
We are still looking for an apprentice Pixie in the Jr's.
I'd like to keep it a Jr. I've only had one kid show interest in becomming a
pixie. If you have an older Jr (maybe even a Teen who would like to help out
before the Teen guild gets going) who would like some extra responsiblity (and
can keep a secret) we'd love to have her (or him) apply. We are going to be
talking in a week or so about who we are going to make our new jr pixie. I'd
like to talk to the parent before hand about the responsiblities involved. Any
questions, feel free to neomail or ym me.

I have both the plastic and the plushie, and I like the
plastic ones better, because the plushie ones take up so much room, and we
don't have much room with all this clutter! The plastic ones respond to each
other, so when Jade had 4 of them all turned to "play" mode and was
carrying them in her arms, they would never stop talking! And I love the shoyru
because he twists and turns and moves all over the table (and falls off).

My child is an avid collector of both plushie and plastic.
She prefers the plushie. They interact with you and other neopets and petpets.
The hard plastic just seem to make a bunch of noise. The plushie actually talk
and you can understand them. They answer questions and they just seem to hold
her interest more.

Oh my, I can't believe the DMV is going after you. Anything
over a $100 in my state would have that guy in court here. The police would be
at his door for writing a bad check and it is a $2,500 fine above the amount of
the check. They shouldn't be going after you. I'd check with your courthouse
before going to the DMV. It is his responsibility no yours. Hope it works out

My turn to vent!!! "
I am absolutely terrified!!! I am on my way to the DMV with
my sister in my car! I am driving because I only have a permit and don't feel
comfortable driving alone. But, she can't drive stick so if I get stuck she
can't help me! I have to go to the Dmv because apparently the guy who sold the
car to me wrote a check to the DMV for $313.00 a week before he sold the car to
me. Well, that check has now bounced and they are coming after me for the money
because the car is now in my name. I don't feel I should be held responsible
for it and I tried to fight it but they threatend to impound my car if Idon't
pay that fee, and it will be sent to collections and mess up my credit. They
are aware I did not write the check, but they are just interested in getting
paid and it's obvious to them this guy doesn't have any money or else his check
wouldn't have bounced. I'm just going to go there and demand a copy of the
check and all it's information so that after I pay them I can take the guy to
small claims court, just for making go through all this. This is my first car.
So far it hasn't been a pleasant experience. Hopefully, I make it to the Dmv in
one piece and don't get stuck in the street somewhere. I'm so nervous I feel
nauseous.

Happy Belated Mothers Day to all you moms out there!
Wow! Thank you to everyone who sent me items! I couldn't
keep track of them. Looks like I got caught in some kind of war AND mom's day
stuff.
Bah! Had to reformat our comps hard drive this past weekend.
We caught the sasser virus and it infected some of our files. Norton had the
files quarantined and we were advised to delete them since there is no repair
for them... so we did... and then couldn't get online. Argh! Thus we had to
reformat the whole thing. It should be okay now though, complete with microsoft
updates and virus protection and everything. What's nice is that the comp seems
so CLEAN now! No random junk and files laying around.
Off to play some games. Ta!

thank you for the Mipsys Charm Bracelet purklegifties it
adds a nice touch to my collection and
also the flowers i recieved and of course the prunes i need them after the
dinner i had a logans roadhouse yesterday lol they gave all mothers a pink
carnation i though that ws sweet and then me and the 4 little munchkins and dad
of course went down to the river and hiked about 2-3 miles and went fishing it
was nice i hope everyone was nice to there mother and also had a wonderful
mothers day to all the other mommys in the guild off to dailies have a wondeful purkle day
also if anyone has questions or needs help feel freet o neomail me : oh and

Sorry about the double post here.
I was reading the posts about Neopets being created for
kids. Actually, if you search for interviews with Adam and/or Donna on the 'net
or in the editorial of Neopian Times, they say that when they originally quit
college to create this site (not something they recommend, BTW), they intended
it to be for people their age (early 20s). They had no idea it would be so
popular with younger kids. So I guess that means that *we're* the normal ones,
and it's all the kids who are strange...
hehe
I only have 2 cats (though several people in my small rural
town have tried to get me to take in more). They are house cats and my house
isn't that big. Besides, one of them is energetic and crazy enough to be 5
cats! She's like a kitty two year old! They were both "throw aways",
cats that people around here got as kittens and once they weren't cute kittens
anymore, they throw them out to be coyote food and get a new kitten. Some
people in this area think that teaches their children responcibility. ... One
of the cats nearly died because of an infection that she needed emergency
surgery to fix. The vet said that the infection would probably not have
happened if the cat had been given proper nutrition. Now they are both fat and
healthy and safe, though they still like to watch the coyotes roam outside my
windows at night.

Good morning....I wanted to cry this morning when I saw the
outpouring of love from you guys...You're the best! I woke up to the sun
shining and the landlord knocking..He's going to the sheriff for eviction...If
this wasn't so serious I'd be laughing..I swear I'm gonna write a book
someday...I know everything happens for a reason but it gets so discouraging
sometimes! I'm gonna face the world with a brave front today thanks to you I have a few newspapers here and I can't
