Curlers? no, my hair recently went from down my mid back to
shorter than my ears (sort of "Liza Minelli-ish" but auburn again
because I decided checking out how it looked in gray was a little too much.
Cats, *Runs to the window to take a quick head count*
1 Cricket (My Siamese astral twin)
2 Baby (mine from before mom moved in here)
3 Baby (mom's before moving in with me)
4 Cerridwen (abandoned, my brother saved for us)
5 Corky (Cerridwen's brother)
6 Mickey Mouse (Came with Corky and Cerri)
7 Steppie (Mom brought him)
8 Jemima Puddleduck (Mom brought her)
9 Sweet Pea (Mom)
10 Mr T (Mom)
11 Psycho Kitty (Brother dumped on mom, she brought)
12 Sunny (abandoned with C,C, and MM)
13 Pinky Paws (Mom)
Nope, only 13 at last head count... not all the way crazy?
Is that what that means? Thank goodness that #1 There is plenty of sand in the
desert (mixed with dust, of course) and #2 I have a huge house and even bigger
land that it is on, so I rarely se these cats, at least not more than 2 at a
time...
And, I am allergic to cats... now THAT IS CRAZY!

intended for kids, and never expected to get this big... I think it is fair to

we have tons of dust in our house tooo....ibut we live near
the woods and have a fireplace...so that causes a lot of it....you should

Happy Mother's Day!!! "
I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day.
I had to rush home (from Stateline - didn't find any luck
either 'simlizzy' today, just to be home
on time for the family BBQ to celebrate Mother's Day with our mom. I'm not a
mother (not by choice), but I have eight Godchildren, four of which were here today.
So anyway, since I've been gone all weekend, I missed some
things around here...
Thank you for the dried prunes, after all the eating I did
this weekend, I think I'll need them. Also, thank you (paddyp) for the Colour
Lillies, It's always nice to receive flowers, for any occasion.
Happy Belated B-Day MommyTig and a BIG THANK YOU for all
you've done.

bag last year and the whole thing was dust. We aren't talking dirt
granules....but powderfine dust. I clean my ears every day and seems during my
sleep cycle every night......I get dust in them. It's gross. I gave up on
actually dusting with cloths and pledge... I just feather dust around maybe
once a month. The kids love it tho, they can come write on the furniture at my
house and no one gets mad!

Oh jeez, Cali.
About a year ago, our landlord evicted us for having pets. I
was devastated at first BUT we were forced to get motivated and we ended up
buying our own house where we can have all the pets we want. If he hadn't
evicted us, we probably would have lived in that hole forever, just out of
sheer laziness.
Not that you have to run out and buy a house, but the point
is, sometimes things seem awful but turn out to be just what you needed.
At any rate, I hope everything works out for the best for

OMG!!! I'm FREAKING out
Time to pull out the therapeutic couch again guys...I was unpacking
today when the landlord came up and told me that the woman who I sublet this
place from had no right to do that and that I need to leave immediately! I just
got here! May 1st..I still have stuff in boxes..I don't have any tears
left I know it's darkest before the dawn
but it's been so long and I'm tired..Things were finally starting to look
up..I'm normally a huge optimist but I'm having a hard time counting my
blessings today...I feel like such a failure...I know I'll be ok but I've had
my share of life stressors this year...My only consolation is knowing it could
be worse..I don't mean to bum anyone out..it's just so easy for me to come here
and spill my guts..I need a big purkle hug..Please send me some Bright Purkle

You got that right, lol! Why, when I was a kid... no, wrong
story. Well at any rate, when I started playing Neopets, paintbrushes were WAY
cheaper. I painted my scorchio AND my skeith for way less than what one
paintbrush costs now. And I only look at the solid colour brushes, I've got no
idea what the funky (like sketch or pirate) ones would run. Darned
inflation!

I have heard lots of explanations on the criteria the shop
wizard uses to search, all I know is that I have quituple checked the prices in
my shop, and my name is never showing up... no wonder there is no one going

My Mother's Day started off with Jade waking up in the
middle of the night to throw up twice in our bed. So now I'm washing sheets,
towels, and pillow cases.
But then we went to China Star for lunch buffet, and they
had crab legs and peel-n-eat shrimp and all kinds of other extra goodies for
Mother's Day! And we went to the mall and I got a new dress from Himalayan Rags
& Riches (love that store!), and a new pretty white medicine cabinet for
the bathroom.
Jade keeps crowing "Happy Mother's Day, mommy!"
and giving me a hug.

day to all of you motherly sorts!
My day has been quite good! Hubby made me breakfast this
morning (which is saying a lot, because he is a preacher, and Sundays are very
busy for him!) After lunch out I shared a banana split with my son for the
second year in a row. I like it as our mother's day tradition, so it WILL
continue, hehe! And my son, goof that he is, just got up on the chair behind
me, backed up against my back, then turned around and giggled at me, saying,
"I just tooted on you, Momma!" Oy, boys. LOL, gotta love em.

About the spyware and pop-ups. You need to go to add/remove
programs and delete any unfamiliar programs. Also go through program and system
files and delete any foriegn programs. I have had that problem before and if
you don't wipe it out now, it can grow on your harddive. I didn't catch mine
and ended up having to reformat the drive to delete all the spyware. It can
corupt your whole pc, so be careful.

FYI about geocities site "
I went to the purkle couch geocities site, and there is a
vicious pop-up ad that somehow installed itself on my computer.
I pressed "no" on everything, but that was
probably the wrong thing to do.
Just wanted to pass it along.
I know you can't help what geocities puts on its free web
pages, but this one is a doozy.
I've deleted the spyware thing, but if someone else knows
what other programs go with it, it would help. I'm having trouble deleting the
whole thing.

Have put some more 'real world' Mother's Day trades for
Purkle moms (hot or not) out there, since the first group went so fast, and
Trading Post only lets you put up 5 at a time.
They are not the prettiest items in Neopia, but they should
serve some what to remind of the home made breakfasts and kid's heartfelt
gifties going around on Mother's Day!

lavished me with gifts and a banner and a sweet gerber daisy flower.. and then
she brought me capn crunch in bed with OJ and an apple.. it was lovely..

My sisters van was broken into while at a car dealership for
repairs. If you complain enough, they might cover your damages. My sister
simply went to manager and said "hey, you are responsible for my car when
I leave it in your care". Three other cars were broken into the same night
as my sisters, and my sister just pitched a fit until she got some results. The
other people simply took what they were handed with no arguement, and got NADA!
I don't know what the laws are in Calif., but I'm sure there is some sort of
insurance "Big O Tires" must have. They may tell you tough luck, but
you never know what you might get if you do a little digging and push your
weight around ::shrugs:: Just a thought. Check into it!
