would be $5.00 he was highly insulted. Actual meal for four of us, plus apple

Caught up on posts after a busy weekend, and I just want to
add that no matter how you make your font look, you can't please everybody!
Some people like large, some people like small, some people like colorful, some
people like plain, and especially since different browsers and different
computers display things differently, and different people have their text size
set to display different sizes, there's no way you can control how people will
see it. So, I say, be yourself, use your own personal preferences, and if
you're able read your own text, you're not doing anything wrong. Same with shop decorating or clothing, what I
think looks great, another person won't like, but I don't think we should
change ourselves to suit someone else's preferences.

Renee, just turned 35, and I'm married with three kids and a lot of pets. I've
been playing Neopets for almost four years now, tho I took a break for about a

LOL! They are mondo huge fans of Happy Meals and the enclosed plastic/plushie
joy.
UGH.
I was at the Great Golden Arches just the other day and
there was no mention of the Neopets toys. I thought I saw they were going to be
some dumb plastic thingies. I could be wrong though, and I hope so.
When is this promotion supposed to start? (I'll go tomorrow
if it's now. sad, sad, sad.)
One of my son's first words was "Donald!" and yes,
it means McDonalds and yes, it must be yelled very loudly... generally from the
back seat of my car.
I wonder if they put some drug in the food to make the kids
crave it so badly (or maybe mommy is a lousy cook and ANYTHING looks good in
comparison!)
Oh well... just had to drop in my 2 cents worth... and
Jaz.... it's really a short drive if you need to borrow my kids to save you the
embarassment....

In Nq2 you pick up ppl in other towns along the way. I just
beat ramtor and started towards the terror caves. And i dont know if anyone
else had trouble with Ramtor but it took me 5 tries to defeat him. All i can
say is when you get to Ramtor heal Mipsy as much as possible cause if he
defeats her its hard to defeat him.

If anyone can't read mine, they can drop me a neomail no
problem . The issue I've run into is
what I think looks good and readable on the browser I use at home becomes some
horrible monstrosity when I use the computers at school (The fact that they're MACs at school also
sends me into a tailspin since I'm really used to Windows). And don't even get
me started about Netscape, which apparently can't show any glow or shadow
around the fonts *sighs*....

about my eyestrain. And I thought if I personally told people I didn't like their
fonts, they'd be annoyed with me. So I wanted to see if anyone else was
bothered by some of these fonts, and I guess most of you aren't. So everyone go
back to using the fonts you want to use, and I'll go back to skipping over
things I can't read. Since most members will go through the extra effort to
read it, don't worry about little old me.

Sorry I responded, I didn't mean to open a major discussion
with my response. I was just asking if mine seemed particularly hard to read or
look at. My eyesight isn't too great, so I know what it's like to see a bright
font and have to squint to see it.
Thanks for the advice Jenn, I'll have to wait awhile I
guess. I need the lab ray to zap my level down, it's getting too expensive to
train my main pet since he/she hit 20.

okay i know im new to the guild and i havent been here as
long as the others, but i feel if you have a problem with someone's font or
that person you should neomail them personally and not post on the board to
cause alot of tension. i like this guild, and i like the people in it. I look
for fonts as a way to identify ppl. Jenn is usually very helpful and i can find
her posts easy cause of her font, and I like James' font cause i find it easy
to read. I just dont feel the forum is the place to air personal feelings. It
should be done privately.

fonts "
You can use whatever fonts you want. Just take a small piece
of advice from someone in the publishing field: If your stuff is hard to read,
eventually people will stop trying. I used to highlight things that were hard
to see, but now I just don't read those people's posts.

James to answer your question about Meuka. He's really hard
to beat! I've been trying to beat him for a while now. I've asked for lots of
advice and the basic premise is that you need to get your pets strength to at
least 50 (my Lupe is now 55) and your defence up there as well (I'm aiming for
55 there too - thank goodness Lupe day's over two days to help.
You will need certain weapons such as radioactive (or stone
or water) muffins and a Leaf Shield is really important. I think I have a Moon
Staff and Lost Desert Dagger too.
Check out pinkpt.com which has a Battlepedia which is really
helpful.
Also Saiyanbrat has helped me heaps with this. *hugs to Ell*

There are a few fonts I have trouble reading too and I now
highlight them (particularly after misunderstanding a post because I didn't
read the earlier post as I couldn't). I tried the same fonts on a test board
with a black background and all came through beautifully. In fact some of them used here would look
magic on a black background
