It was a day for hugs on the Purkle Couch as people wrote how they felt about the guild.

...Guild founder BILLYDAKID also had a message for the guild "My RL world has climbed up to take over most of my time. Hopefully this will change when we get into a new house and I will be able to spend more time with the guild again . In any case, there has been additions to the council and although you may not see Tig's or my name on the front page, we are still council also. Jaz and Dali have been doing a wonderful job in keeping things going and now they have some support in sarian and guinan. (both of whom I believe were purklefaes before their elevation) In the 2 years we have been here (2 years???? has it really been that long?) the couch has been a source of friendship and fellowship for us. Thanks for the kind words. I must agree with you, Jaz and dali rock. They have been so great and supportive, and helpful in getting me settled into my position here, and even from day one, I've felt so at home on the Couch. I've been here nearly a year (On the couch) and my 2 year Neoversary is in July. I can't even remember how I found this guild. Totally by accident I think. I found a banner in someone's shop. Ever since then, I have learned SO much about neopets, and have become what level of successful I've wanted to achieve. I just want to thank Billy and Tig for putting together such a great guild, and opening up such opportunities for creativity, education (don't think I haven't learned a TON of HTML by trying for the shop potlight!!!) and basically a place where everyone can let their hair down, throw snowballs, share stories, hugs and birthdays, and basically find support where so few may think to turn. She asked if it was ok as it wasn't an official PC Banner...MAGIKJAZ advised that as long as it doesn't violate Neopets TOS then its fine to do it and in fact it will be interesting to see what our creative Couchers come up with...There were lots of compliments from the Purkle Couch members on WATASHI_WA_PIXINO's great design...GUINAN145 suggested we should have them for all different species for our galleries and WATASHI_WA_PIXINO said "Uh ohhh, don't say that Lisa! I've already got a hankerin to draw a cute little Kau, and your Kau gallery might just push me over the edge.... *reaches toward pencil and paper*"

PETERSTMP05 asked about Kacheekers as the person she is playing hasn't signed on for 12 days and she wondered what happens. GUINAN145 advised "Basically if they don't move for 24 hours you can send them a "Move or Lose" neomail (a button appears to allow this) and if they don't move for 24 hours after that you get the "I win" button and you win the game."...

For those Purkle Couchers unfamiliar with a Easter Basket Exchange, what it involves is you giving gifts anonymously to a Purkle Coucher, and in return you receive gifts from another member. All of this is done in secret, the person you are shopping for does not know you are their gift giver and you do not know who is sending you gifts.

If you would like to participate in the Purkle Couch Easter Basket exchange then you need to sign up by neomailing dbelle no later than Midnight NST, March 13th. Also neomail us with any questions you might have and we will do our best to answer them in a timely fashion.
