| This planet. It seems familiar. Almost as if I had tread these lands before. Indeed it is strange. Perhaps in another time, in other circumstances would I have thought that this planet were Earth. However I should not speak such blasphemies. Once we had acquired and activated the alien artifact, it transported us here in a blinding flash of light. I believe that I know how to re-activate it and perhaps return to our previous planet, but the artifact was taken by the foul Orks that were transported here with us. I can recall what the Master of the Fleet said to us directly. We are marines, let none who would see us fail survive one minute further, let none that would see us falter breathe another insidious breath. |
| RULES: Deep Strike, Reserves, Night Fight for turn 1. LEAGUE RULE: "The Artifact" - If you achieved the SECONDARY OBJECTIVE in WEEK 3, you may re-roll your Artifact scatter dice rolls. "Lost in Translation" - If you tied in WEEK 3, you may force any one of your opponent's units to start the game in reserve. If you choose to do so, a random unit of your army will start in reserves as well. "Timed Assault" - If you lost in WEEK 3, you may force any one unit of your opponent's units to start the game in reserve. SPECIAL RULE: If you accomplish the PRIMARY objective, you will receive a +1 to your OVERALL score. TURNS: SIX (no more, no less) 1. Place the Artifact objective in the center of the table. 2. Roll against Strategy Rating. Winner chooses whether to deploy first or second. 3. Player 1 deploys first in his deployment zone, then Player 2 does the same afterwards. 4. Deploy infiltrators. 5. Player 1 rolls the scatter die and a D6, move the objective in the specified direction. 6. Player 2 does the same. 7. Player 2 may seize the initiative, if he so chooses. 8. Have fun! VICTORY CONDITIONS: If you accomplish ALL THREE objectives, you will receive a bonus point towards the Best General Award. Whichever player secures the most important objective will win for that week. i.e. Player 1 secures the PRIMARY objective, Player 2 secures both the SECONDARY and TERTIARY objectives. Player 1 wins. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Re-activate the artifact. Spend one turn in base contact with the objective. SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: Victory points. Add up the total number of destroyed points and compare them against your opponents. If the difference is greater than 175 points the player that destroyed more wins this objective. TERTIARY OBJECTIVE: Headhunter. Neutralize one unit of each of the army choices to satisfy this objective. For instance, if your opponent has 1 HQ, 3 Elite, 4 Troops and 1 Heavy, you must kill/immobilize 1 HQ, 1 Elite, 1 Troop and 1 Heavy. |
