Damned One

When I helped damn Raziel, I realized we weren't just condemning out eldest brother, but ourselves as well. Myself, and the rest of the brethren had also been lost on that day. Melchiah, Zephon, Rahab and Dumah have already fell to Raziel's wrath now that he had emerged, resurrected from his execution to the Lake of the Dead.

I, Turel, am the last of his lieutenants, the second born son of Kain. I have still remained loyal to my master after all these years of turmoil and change, even after I had to assist with Dumah to toss Raziel to his dead in the Abyss. Such is the depth of my loyalty.

As Kain spoke the words, "Cast him in" my hand did not falter in the last. I was impassive, waiting and watching for the order. My taloned hand gripped Raziel's left should as Dumah's took hold of his right. Using the vampiric strength that we had, my younger brother and I threw Raziel over the edge of the sacrificial cliff, into the swirling waters of the abyss. And I turned away from that scene, not even sparing a glance down at the eldest brethren's form disappearing into the Lake of the Dead.

I was never sure of what the master's plans for Raziel were. Condemning the eldest after he had evolved wings made me wary of my own evolution. I had half expected to be thrown into the abyss like Raziel after I had surpassed Lord Kain. However the master had said nothing, remaining unchanged himself, while the rest of us changed into these strange, mutated forms of ours.

Not that it would have matter if I was doomed to the abyss to and eternity of agony in the Lake of the Dead. I shall serve my master until my death at the hands of Raziel.

So, I await my elder brother in the depths of my fortress here in area of Dark Eden. My children will perish as Raziel will make his way towards me. With their minds having degenerated to nothing more then feral beasts, perhaps it's for the best. Nosgoth's
vampire population is not the intelligent, powerful beings it once consisted of.

I pause in my thoughts as I sense Lord Kain being to fight Raziel in Chronoplast chamber in the Oracle's Cave. So, my time was almost up now, was it? Almost a pity, and quite ironic to die by the hands of my brother, as he died at mine. Nosgoth truly is a land of irony.

A build up of energy in the Chronoplast catches my attention and I realize what the master is up to. My lord wishes to change destiny and time with the help of Raziel. Very peticular, but interesting at the same time. So it seems that my own demise has been postponed at the very least. I'll have to see how this situation folds out before I figure out what my role in it might be.
