Chapter 7
Jina wrote a long letter for Sang Ming. As she wrote, tears flow. Afterwards,She went to the woodshed where they used to hang out together and dug a hole beneath their Moon circle. Jina put her diary in a box full of dead purple roses and buried it beneath. Let the past become the past, I shall start a new life tomorrow, Reborn Jina! She heaved a sigh of relief and went back to bed. The whole night she tossed and turn and reminisce the old times where she and Sang Ming used to hang out together. Anyway, it was her last night too.

Sang Ming was in his room, putting "Heart of a Sacred Moonstone"inside a paper box full of freshly made purple roses. He wanted the present to be perfect. He wrote on a piece of paper, "Happy birthday My Jina". He will give this to her tomorrow. He smiled and finally he could have a good rest.

The next morning before sunrise, Jina sat up on her bed. It was B-day. She had to leave St Helena Orphan home to Seoul. Sister Marianne helped her with her suitcase. As she walked past Sang Ming's room, she popped by his door and saw that he was asleep. She didnt want to wake up him. Sadly, she left a letter on his table. She walked to his bed and brushed his hair on the forehead. She whispered on his ears: " dear oppa, i'm leaving, goodbye....". Upon saying this, she dropped her tears again.  Sister Marianne asked her to hurry as the car had arrived.

Jina went into the car with crying with endless streams of tears. "Goodbye Oppa, goodbye St helena". This time, she felt the pain worsen. She had left Oppa for good.
Chapter 8
Sang Ming woke up, feeling enthusiastic and excited. He wanted so much to see the happy expression on Jina's face. This time, he rushed straight to her bedroom with the box of present he had prepared last night. Sang Ming saw no sign of Jina. "Sister Marianne, where is Jina, where is she?" Sang Ming shouted. Sister Marianne was puzzled. "Didn't you know where she went to? she asked. Sang Ming gave a blur look, shaking his head. Sighing , Sister Marianne did not know how to break the news to Sang Ming. She was in a dillemma but Sang Ming has to know the truth anyway. "She...she is being adopted by a family and she had just left for Seoul this morning.". Sang Ming stood there dumbstruck. A moment of shock left him standing there still for a minute. Then he dashed out of the St Helena Orphan Home and ran and ran. " HAN JINA! HAN JINA, Where are you? Please don't hide yourself....." "Han Jina, why didn't you tell me you are leaving!, WHY...why why...?" Sang Ming shouted her name again and again. He ran across the meadow fields and continue shouting.. How could you leave oppa behind, Han Jina.....! Sang Ming finally broke down and cried. He had lost something very dear to him. It was an un-welcomed farewell.
Chapter 9
Back in his room, Sang Ming felt alone. Very alone . Then, he saw a letter on his table. It was a letter of Han Jina to him. He quickly tore open the envelope.
It read:
Dear Sang Ming Oppa,
I am leaving now. Leaving to a new place with new ap-pa and uhm-ma . Oppa, I didn't have any chance to talk to you recently and I can't bring myself to say this to you. Deep down, I do not want to leave St Helena, but the most important thing is, I do not want to leave u, oppa. We've been through so much and we've been so close. Then I realize, oppa doesn't like me anymore, oppa doesn't like Jina anymore. Oppa is surrounded by the pretty girls, Jina is nothing to you anymore. Jina is in pain, Jina had to leave. Jina doesn't want Sang Ming oppa to belong to others, but only to Jina. I'm sorry for being a pest, a troublesome pest, but I was worried for you. Now that I've left, oppa must be happy, because there is no one to pester you anymore. So now that I've left, oppa, please don't hate me. I won't be a pest anymore. I wish you all the best.
Love,
Jina

Sang Ming felt remorseful. He should never have left her alone. It was too late for everything. Han Jina had left him for good. Sang Ming walked to the woodshed, sitting there, staring at the sky outside, no more stars, no more moon, it was pitch black. His eyes were moist but there were no tears. He looked at their Moon Circle, their names engraved. "I wish you were here" as Sang Ming thought of Jina .Then at the corner of his eye, he saw a spot, a lump of soil on the ground which he had never see before. With bare hands, he hastily dug away the soil and saw a box.
