I am originally from LA(Lower Akron), Ohio. I came to Fla. In the early 80?s, spending 3-4 years in South Fla., before settling in the Tampa Bay area. I played the party & bar scene for many years, while writing many songs, and perfecting my craft. In late 1999 I made a trip to Akron to see my first ?Love?, that I hadn?t seen in 35 years. We spent a glorious month and a half together. Several songs were written while there, and many more after I left. I like to say it was a journey of 1100 miles, 35 years, and 12 songs from my heart to finally finish. I compiled these songs into my current CD: ?3 Broken Hearts!!!?. In early 2000, while playing the ?open mic? circuit, I ran into the celebrated Poet, Dr. San Man, at the world renowned, Blues Ship, in Historic Ybor City. After a few weeks of my showing up there for Triple Talent Tuesdays, Dr. San Man asked if I would host the show. I accepted, and we became a force to be reckoned with, on the ?open mic? scene. Dr. San Man & I are still touring the area, doing various venues. We both are founders of the ?Pure Poet?s Society?(a non-profit organization), along with the infamous ?Candyman?, and we sponsor the Youth Group: J. U. I. C.
