The Rules
The Commandments
1. The staff of PHW work hard to bring you a quality product. Our core staff is composed of parents who are doing this for fun. As such, PHW is important to us, but it takes a backseat to that crazy thing called LIFE. We strive to bring you a fun, relaxed environment. We also understand that PHW isn?t life or death. With this in mind, DO NOT, under ANY circumstances, disrespect the fed or the staff. This undermines the fed, destroys morale and generally turns into a very nasty situation. Attempts at doing so will be dealt with swiftly and harshly. Immediate termination will result, no questions asked, no explanations taken.
2. Your wrestler MUST receive an official acceptance from the PHW Board before you start roleplaying. Any violations of this will result in automatic disqualification of your application.
3. Prospective members will go through a trial period while we determine how they?ll fit in with the current PHW environment.
4. You MUST roleplay (RP), unless excused by staff, for matches that your wrestler(s) is participating in. Failure to do so will impede your wrestler?s performance. Continued failure without prior notice of your absence will result in a 30-day suspension of your wrestler. If, upon return, you fail to do so again, your wrestler will no longer be considered a member of the PHW community.
5. Rp?s are the determining factor for how well your wrestler does. We here at PHW put emphasis on quality, versus quantity. A well thought out, coherent rp will often receive a better reception than 2 or more rp?s that aren?t constructed well. The more entertaining the rp, the more ?points? said rp will receive when judgments are to be made.
6. Second to rp?s are strategies (strats). Strats aren't a necessity, but it is recommended that you consider using them. They determine how a match progresses. Keep in mind that a strat might not always be used, however, it gives us something to work with. Decent rp?s, combined with a solid strat are a VERY POWERFUL combination. Keep this in mind.
7. Excessive swearing, epithets of any nature (comments about sexual preference, racial or religious origin or otherwise) ARE PROHIBITED. This is meant to be a fun environment. As such, inflammatory and derogatory comments violating this rule will be dealt with swiftly and harshly. In other words? If it?s something that you wouldn?t hear on regular television, DO NOT USE IT HERE.
8. Do not use someone else?s wrestler in your rp?s without written consent from that wrestler?s handler, and confirmation (from all parties involved) sent to the President. Violation of this rule will result in a 2-week suspension. The only possible exception to this rule would be in the event of a stable.
9. Complaints about how your wrestler was handled in a match are to be taken up with the PHW President via e-mail. Any complaints on the Out of Character Comments Board (OCC) will be stricken from the board, with an additional penalty of a 14 to 30-day suspension (depending on the circumstances). If your wrestler holds a championship, he will be stripped of said championship IMMEDIATELY. In keeping with this notion, Out of Character Comments are just that? OUT OF CHARACTER. If they are found on the RP Board, they will be deleted and the appropriate actions taken.
10. Ignorance of any of the above rules is NO EXCUSE. Before sending in an application, you should have read the rules. Your application signifies that you?ve read and understood said rules, and will act accordingly.
The main rule to remember is that this fed is all about fun. Keep that in mind, and we?ll be all good. After all, this is ?FANTASY,? so use your imagination and let those creative juices flow!
