1989-1992

The time when Hyde started out, more than 10 years ago. With dark clothes, dark hair, pale face and poor lighting, he sure looks like a vampire somehow. But still our pretty Hyde.

1993

Taken from Dune days, his long hair and dresses made him look sorta visual but seriously L'Arc~en~Ciel was never really visual. Spot the 1993 image in the Sony AXIA advertisement.

1994

Tierra times, or rather, black highly permed hair with his well known white dresses made up his fashion of the time. Still carrying that forlorn look of his, Hyde continued wearing as visual as possible.

1995

A picture taken from the PV of Vivid Colors, he has officially dyed his hair blonde! Great. But his dresses have gone missing. Straight dark blonde hair and modern fashion is Hyde in 1995.

1996

A picture from Kaze ni Kienaide PV. He cut his hair!! But he still looks quite good. I don't know why he wore glasses at that time but it doesn't matter. The hair cut and black coloured hair is the most obvious change.

1997

The sad days after Sakura left. He still looks the same, except minus the glasses and a longer fringe. In fact in Niji his eye makeup is incredible.

1998

Larc's first kouhaku utagasen. Hyde has dyed his hair, and wears weird coloured contact lenses. He's back to normal with fast hard rock-ish songs and twanging guitars. Thank goodness.

1999

Ark and ray's release. He cut his hair yet again! In fact he seems to like gel. Hmm. Anyway, the black and spiky cool hairdo is in and so are his barbwire accessories. Oh and those sunglasses from the Grand Cross Tour.

2000

He's keeping his long hair again. Pix from STAY AWAY single. He continues to keep all his wire accessories on and has this school boy punk look. I personally prefer his hair this way. Keep it haido-kun!

2001

It's obvious. He has his long locks dyed platinum blonde. Hyde's obsession with London is probably the reason behind blonde. He could just stare into you right? Would you call this more romantic? He just got married...

2002

This pix is taken from Hydeist. He cut his hair to a boyish hairstyle which can be seen in the PV of Shallow Sleep. He has grown fatter. Hmm. But Hyde is still as stylish as ever with his cool coloured clothes.

2003

This is his latest image, from his latest single, Hello! He dyed his hair black again and added heavier eye makeup. He's beginning to look a little like niji time. And I like it.
