Now, 300 years into the future, at the Tendo household�

            A very strange letter arrived in a red envelope one crisp, fall day. It contained a lot of complicated documents that looked like bills, but overall, it just meant that the Tendo family was broke. Mr. Tendo waited for his three daughters to come back from school and grocery shopping, anxiously thinking about what he and his daughters would do.

            On their way home, Akane and Nabiki met up with Kasumi. They were all very happy because it was Friday and they were all laughing at an inside joke. When Soun saw them all laughing like that, it made it him feel even guiltier for having to give then bad news, but he knew he had to tell them sooner than later.

 Soun: >Looking a bit sad< Hello girls! How was your day?

3 Girls: >In unison< Hello father! It was good! (A/n: Isn�t this what we all say?) >they start talking again<

Soun: Um� girls? I�m afraid I have some bad news�

3 Girls: >All stop talking, laughing, and walking< ����.!

Akane: >Looking concerned< what is it?

Kasumi: Oh my! I�m sure it�s not that bad father!

Akane: It isn�t� is it dad?

Kasumi: Of course not Akane dear!

Nabiki: >A little annoyed< Will you two just shut up and let the man talk?!

Soun: Ah� erm� thank you Nabiki. Well, we best get on with it! Here I go� I�m sorry to say this girls, but with all these bills piling up� >Starting to sniff< and the low business rate these d- days� >Eyes start becoming filled with tears< b- but we�re� we�re >Sobbing loudly< WE�RE BROOOOOKEEEEE!!! >Cries and wails<

[Realization settling in]

Kasumi: ��.. Oh my���

Akane: Nani?! Are you sure of that dad? �Cause I mean yo�

Nabiki: �ITTAI NANIO?!?!? (A/n: Translation= What the h3ll?!?!?)

Kasumi: >Ignoring Nabiki and referring to Akane�s statement< Yes! This could be just some type of misunderstanding!

Nabiki: >Blank look of shock on her face, not moving and mumbling< B- br-broke?... How?... ME� BROKE?!

Soun: >Recovering from crying� though just enough to understand< It is true though!!! Th- th- there�s no way around it! I got a l-le-letter from the b-bank today� They said that we would h-have to sell all our furniture and house and everything that is not essential to pay off the bills. >Obviously not crying as much< For- fortunately, we have another house to li- live in� >Looking down< It was handed down to your mother from her mother� >Looking up again< It may be a small cabin in Nermia, but it will be more than enough to live with my three lovely daughters! >Glomps them thoroughly<

Akane: But this is still awful!

Kasumi: Oh� Oh my!

Nabiki: >In shock< ��������.

Soun: Look girls, I know that this is a big blow, but it will make us stronger as a family. We will get through this together!

Akane and Kasumi: >Sniffling weakly< Oh� okay�

Nabiki: >Mumbles< How� How�?

Soun: Now, I�m afraid you girls will have to get jobs; you can�t go to school anymore or just stay at home. I also have to get a better job that will be more beneficial to our family. Alright, go pack all of the things you need, but only that mind you. I�ll see if I can help Nabiki.

Akane and Kasumi: Yes father!

Soun: >Seeing their sad faces< Don�t be so down girls, I bet you we will be able to look back on this years from now and be glad it happened.

 �Sure�� though Akane as she went up to pack. �Just the essentials.�

�Dad�s right,� Akane thought to herself as she munched the cookies Kasumi had taken when they passed the kitchen, thinking that it�d make them feel better. She was right. �Well, I can think of one thing that�s good about moving,� she thought as she packed her favorite gi (Hey! It was essential� to her!) �At least I won�t have to deal with �Upperclassman� Kuno anymore!� Akane smiled at this thought. That did cheer her up a bit. There was a knock on her door and Kasumi let herself in.

 Kasumi: How are you doing Akane?

Akane: I guess I�m ok. I mean, it hasn�t really sunk in yet.

Kasumi: Yes, I know what you mean. Did the cookies help though?

Akane: Yeah! Thanks a lot!

Kasumi: Sure! They helped me too!

Akane: >Smiling at her sister< Yeah� Anyway, I wonder how Nabiki is�

             As if on cue, there came a loud clattering sound came from downstairs, and then a loud BANG! Akane and Kasumi looked at each other and then rushed downstairs to see what was going on.

             They went downstairs to greet a scene that would have been quite humorous except for the seriousness of it. There was their father sprawled on the ground above an unconscious Nabiki. He had obviously been trying to move her and he had lost his balance and they both fell. The two girls struggled to hold in their laughter until they saw their father�s face.

Soun: >Obviously having a hard time breathing< Quickly! Call Dr. Irite! I think it might be serious!

A/n: Okay... we haven't updated in awhile... and GOMEN! ><" There's been sooo much school and homework! (<-- That's such a lame excuse... TT__TT) Well I hope you all forgive me and like this next chapter! (And uh... yea.. Chapter 5 is up by accident...)
