Madison and Jenn had become good friends in the past four days of work it was Thursday. Madison was busily typing on her computer trying to book a flight for one of her staff writters to fly to New York to interview, Micheal Jackson.
"Hey what are you doing?" Jenn asked as she walked into Madison's office which was right next to her own.
"Actually i just finished booking a flight for Coleen to New York so she can do that Micheal Jackson interview for the rock and roll hall of fame thing."
"Oh how exciting" Jenn said sarcastically
"yeah tell me about it." Madison smiled as she sent the information to coleen via e-mail.
"So Halloween is on Saturday... What are you doing?" Jenn asked curiously.
"Ummm... i don't know i had totally forgotten about halloween." Madison said honestly looking at Jenn. "What about you."
"I have to take my brothers kids out trick or treating they are 4 and 5 years old." Jenn sighed.
"Oh cool i guess." Just then Jenn's cell phone rang
"Hello" she answered it. "Yes can you hold on a second... Thanks." she covered the phone with her hand.
"I gotta go very important phone call."
"ok talk to you later." Jenn left the room.
Madison sat there for a little while deciding what to do next. Jenn was right there wasn't much to do, she was bored but she got paid well so she didn't complain. Madison was playing solitaire when her cell phone rang. She looked at the caller ID on it and didn't recognize the number.
"Hello." she answered the phone.
"Hey" the voice on the other side said.
"umm... who is this?" Madison asked curiously.
"Its me" They said.
"who is me?"
"It's Justin." He said as in a "duh" sort of tone.
"Oh hey sorry i didn't recognize your voice." Madison said a little embarrased.
"It's ok, so you know saturday is Halloween right?"
"Yes i know it is."
"Ok well see Chris and Molly are having this Halloween party and i was wondering if you wanted to go." Justin asked hopefully.
"ok let me get this straight you are inviting me to someone elses party? how does that work?" Madison asked a bit confused.
"well see I asked Chris and Molly if they wanted to invite you and they said 'sure' so here i am calling you and inviting you. and plus your Jaime's sister and Molly and Jaime are like best friends so of course people want you there and i do. Why do you have anything planned that day?" Justin asked hoping she didn't and would go to the party.
"Umm... no i don't have anything planned that day."
"So do you wanna go?"
"Yeah sure, but i don't have a costume." Madison said remembering the whole dressing up idea of Halloween.
"Thats ok i'll help you find one." Justin said brightly
"When?"
"What are you doing tomorrow afternoon?"
"i have work 'til 3 but i can have Jenn cover for me it's not like we do very much anyway, so how's about noon?"
"Great, umm where should i meet you?" Justin asked.
"You can come here or i can go to your house but i don't exactly know where that is."
"Well how about this you come over here that way you can see my house which you haven't seen and we can go to lunch and buy you a costume and me one too because i have no idea what to be."
"Sounds good." Madison said. Justin gave her directions to his house.
"ok i'll see you tomorrow then." Justin said once he was done with the directions.
"Yeah bye Justin."
"bye" They hung up the phone. Madison didn't notice Jenn was standing at her door.
"ooh who's Justin?" Jenn said in that weird voice friends make when they want to know something.
"He's my friend." madison stated blankly.
"Just your friend?"
"yes Jenn just a friend he invited me to a halloween party and we are going to get costumes tomorrow if you must know." Madison said smiling.
"Oh ok sure. alright girly i gotta go i have a date tonight with this really hot guys i met and its already 5:30 and i have to go and be ready by 7 so bye."
"Alright i'll see you tomorrow, oh yeah and tomorrow i'm leaving like at 11:45 or so ok."
"Ok, to be with Justin?" Jenn said mischeviously.
"Yes goodbye jenn."
"Bye"

Madison was already late getting to work. It was 8:30 and she was just getting in the parking lot. She should already be inside and working. She hurried out of her car and walked very quickly inside and up the elevator to the 10th floor. She finally got to the top. Jenn was walking around making sure everyone was actually working.
"Hey" Jenn said as she walked over to Madison.
"oh hey i'm like really late today."
"That's ok i'm late most of the time, i won't tell anyone." Jenn smiled. She was walking next to Madison as the two walked into Madisons office.
"So today is your date with mr.Prince charming who kept that smile on your face yesterday, who i know absolutely nothing about." Jenn said sounding offeneded when she said that "who i know absolutely nothing about" comment.
"Well what would you like to know." Madison asked sitting down at her desk.
"Well everything. how did you meet him? how long have you known him? what does he do for a living? How old? Does he have a girlfriend? stuff like that?" she said emphasizing the girlfriend part.
"ok well i met him at my sisters wedding, he was the best man. I've known him for about a week and a half, he is a manager at JIVE records, I believe he is 24, and as far as i know he does not have a girlfriend."
"Ok let me get this straight, you've known him for a week and a half and you are like madly in love with him?"
"i'm not madly in love with him! we're friends. he helped me move into my apartment."
"oh whatever so how did he become a manager at JIVE records they are like huge." Jenn asked curiously she was one of the nosiest people Madison had ever met.
"Well i guess it kind of helps when you are a former JIVE artist. so i guess he got the job after that or whatever." Madison said trying to avoid that fact that he was Justin Timberlake a former member or the pop sensation *N SYNC.
"ok wait back up a bit. He was a JIVE artist?" Jenn asked a bit intriuged.
"Yeah."
"Who was he? was he famous i don't really remember any Justins"
"he was in N sync." Madison said giving up.
"oh my gosh are you serious i used to love them!"
"yeah i'm serious" Madison said dully. Again Jenn's cell phone rang and she had to go.
