Madison finally was done crying. She wiped her eyes and looked at Justin.

"I'm ok" Madison said smiling.

"It's ok do you wanna tell me what happened?" Justin asked and kissed her forehead.

"i... i don't know how to say it." Madison said. looking into his eyes. Then it came in her mind again 'love'

"Well what is it i don't really need details i would just like to know why your beautiful face is stained with tears." Justin said wiping a tear that ran down her cheek. "i'll understand if you don't want to tell me"

"No it isn't that. It's just... Gwen isn't my mother." Madison said quietly.

"What?" Justin asked a bit confused.

"She isn't my mother her best friend is or was." Madison said snuggling closer to Justin, they were still sitting on the living room floor.

"ok i'm lost i guess i am going to need details" He said as he pushed her hair aside that had fallen into her face.

    Madison explained everything to Justin. He didn't know what to say. What do you say to someone who just found out their mother is dead, and the people you thought were your real family in reality aren't. There was a long silence between them.

"Justin" Madison asked looking up at him.

"Yeah." He looked down at her.

"Can you sing to me?" She whispered.

Justin didn't answer yes or no. he just started singing the song that seemed to best fit the situation 'This I Promise You.'

    He continued to sing the song and looked down at Madison she was sound asleep in his arms. He slowly got up and carried Madison to her bedroom. He didn't want to leave her alone but didn't know what she would think if she woke up and he was next to her or if she woke up and he was gone. At that moment he didn't care he didn't want to be away from her he laydown next to her and thought. He watched her sleep and her chest rose and fell from her breathing. He whispered softly to her, he wouldn't say it if she was awake in fear of her reaction.

"I love you Maddy" He realized it was true. In the course of a month or two he had met her befriended her and falled in love with her. It was like a dream that he didn't want to wake up from. He fell asleep with Madison in his arms.

   Madison woke up the next morning a bit more refreshed. She looked up and saw Justin laying next to her. she couldn't help but smile. The way the sun hit his face made him look like there was a halo on top of his head. Madison shifted over slightly and saw the clock it was 6:30 AM. She lay there not wanting to leave.

     She looked at Justin and realized she was truely happy with him. Although last night was horrible and she wanted to forget it he had been there for her. He didn't leave. Then once again that four letter word popped in her head:love. Madison looked over at him she wasn't sure about it. She had dreamt Justin told her he loved her, she could hear it vividly in her mind. Atleast she thought it was a dream.

"I love you Justin" She whispered softly looking at his sleeping face. She then felt a feeling of tired ness and relaxed in his arms and fell asleep.
