Madison and Justin went to BJ's (i don't know if they have it in Orlando but they do here in cali hey it's called fiction for a reason)
They had already ordered and gotten their food.
"Can i ask you a question?" Justin asked looking up at Madison.
"you just did." Madison said seriously trying her hardest not to laugh.
"What?" Justin asked confused.
"you just asked me if you could ask me a question and you asked me one when asking. Nevermind yes what is your question Justin?" Madison said smiling and shaking her head.
"ok, Why did you leave so early from Chris and Molly's party?" Justin asked. Madison knew the question was bound to come up sooner or later.
"Justin, it was midnight when i left what time did you expect me to leave at 3 in the morning?" Madison said trying to cover the real reason she left.
"Well i mean it isn't like it was over yet and you didn't even say by to me or anything." Justin said looking down at his plate. madison was caught she had never expected that. She thought for a while.
"Well you seemed busy..." Madison said quietly.
"With what?" Justin asked looking up at her again.
"More like with who? i mean with Ashley." She said without a drop of anger in her voice.
"Ashley?" Justin asked
"yeah ashley you know girl that was there dressed as a bunny. Brownish hair kind or goes by the name of Ashley." Madison said laughing.
"Oh Ashley. What do you mean?" Justin asked.
"Well if i'm not mistaken wasn't that you and her smooching in the back yard." Madison said trying her hardest not to get mad at his "dumb act"
"Wait you saw that?" Justin asked in disbelief.
"yeah" Madison said nonchalantly. "That was you right or was there someone there dressed as Winnie the Pooh?"
"No it was me but me and Ashley broke up a long time ago." Justin said in defense.
"Well i know this isn't any of my business but if you broke up why were you kissing?" Madison asked.
"It's not what it seemed." Justin said
"Well then what was it if you don't mind my asking?" She said looking at him waiting for an answer.
"Look, she kissed me ok." Justin said he seemed to be getting very anxious and looked stressed.
"Justin i'm not here to judge you honestly i don't really care. and as much as i like being friends with you your love life really isn't my problem." Madison lied. Every word that had just left her mouth was a lie. She did care. Justin just looked at her for a while.
"ok just thought you might like to know." Justin said
   The finished eating and madison went back to work and Justin went back to JIVE studios to work with his new artist, a young male solo artist.

    Justin was driving to JIVE studios and couldn't help but think of madison.
"She only thinks of me as a friend." Justin thought out loud the dissapointment was evident in his voice. "What on earth was i thinking? she doesn't like me she thinks i'm nice. We're only friends. Good God i'm talking to myself what's wrong with me."
"I'm going crazy he thought." Then Ashley came into his mind.
"I can't believe Madison would think Ashley and I were together or something. I don't want anything to do with her." Justin thought this time in his head. He arrived at JIVE Studios and went to work.

    Madison went up to the 10th floor again and went straight to Jenn's office.
"Hey Girly." Jenn said as Madison walked in her office.
"Hi" Madison said dully.
"How did your DATE go?" she emphasized the word "date"
"it went, and it wasn't a date!" madison said raising her voice.
"oh sure. what's wrong?"
"remember i told you he was kissing some girl?" Madison asked. She told Jenn just about everything now, since she was the only friend around there now.
"Yeah, Ashley or whatever?" Jenn said
"yeah well he said that she's his Ex."
"ooooh that sucks." Jenn said they talked for a little longer and Madiosn went home.
