"I'm sorry to interrupt you two but I just needed to get some stuff and return some too." Marie said bitterly, setting a bag down at the doorway.

"That's ok" Justin said. Madison couldn't say anything. "You can get whatever you need"

"Thank you" Marie said and went upstairs.

"Justin I need to talk to her." Madison said and got up.

"Umm Ok. Do you want me to go with you?" Justin asked.

"No, I need to do this alone" Madison said and headed upstairs. She looked around and found Marie in Justin's room getting some stuff. She appeared to be crying and guilt washed over Madison.

"Marie?" Madison said walking into the room.

"What do you want?" Marie asked bitterly.

"I...I just wanted to say I'm sorry" Madison said quietly. She was sorry it wasn't a lie.

"You're sorry?" Marie laughed, it was an evil bitter laugh that sent chills down Madison's spine. "How can you be sorry? You got what you wanted didn't you?"

"That's not how I wanted things to be." Madison said.

"How were they gonna be then? He couldn't have both of us. This is the USA you can't have more than one wife. And plus you're my cousin!" Marie said angrily.

"You can hate me all you want, but I left with every intention of letting you have him."

"I thought you were my friend you're my cousin for crying out loud! I trusted you, and you stabbed me in the back." Marie said.

"I didn't ask to be your friend or the Maid of honor. I told you I didn't want to be it, but you insisted. You brought this upon yourself." Madison said getting mad.

"No but you could have atleast told me!" Marie said loudly.

"What was I gonna say... 'Oh Sure i'll be you're Maid of honor, oh by the way I'm completely and utterly in love with your fiancee' " Madison said sarcastically. "I don't think so!"

"Whatever Madison. I loved him and you took him away from me!" Marie said.

"No I didn't. I didn't steal him away from you. He came after me. He wanted me not you me!"

"Good you can have him. Maybe it was better I realized this now before I made the mistake of marrying him. So he didn't love me like he loves you, I know but that doesn't mean I have to like you. I love him and I'll never forgive you for this. We can't be friends." Marie said.

"Fine" Madison said and turned around and walked away. Marie finished getting her stuff together.

"I hope you too are very happy together" Marie said before walking out the door. "And Justin one more thing" She said. Justin looked up and she threw something at him. It was a ring. She turned around and slammed the door.

"She hates me" Madison said walking back in the room and sitting next to him on the couch.

"Maddy, Don't worry, You're never gonna see her again." Justin said hugging her.

"Justin, she's my cousin" Madison reminded.

"Ooh yeah I forgot" Justin said and kissed her forehead.

"Jus, you aren't helping" Madison said with a sigh.

"I know" He smiled. Just then the phone rang and Justin went to answer it.

"Hello?"

"Hey Justin, It's JC."

"Oh Hey what's up?" Justin asked.

"Nothing much. Lynnette wants to invite everyone to dinner tomorrow, so i'm supposed to call and invite you and Madison. Oh by the way congrats on the engagement." JC said.

"Thanks, I'll go let me ask Madison." Justin quickly asked Madison she gladly excepted. "Yeah we'll both go"

"Great. My house tomorrow at 5:30-ish"

"Ok see ya then bye" Justin said and hung up. Justin looked over at Madison who yawned.

"Are you tired, Beautiful?"

"Yeah. I have to go home" Madison said.

"No!" Justin whined and hugged her closer to him.

"I'm stinky and I have to check my answering machine, and Princess oh jeez i have to feed her!" Madison said

"You don't stink, and if you do I like you stinky. and answering machine? Is that more important than spending time with moi? And the dog? fine!" Justin said dramatically.

"Seriously, I'll come back if you want. Hey wait why don't you just come with me?" Madison asked.

"Oh yeah huh there is always that" Justin grinned.

"come on then" Madison said and got up trying to pull Justin along with her.

"Maddy, Have you told your mom yet?" Justin asked as they walked all the way across the yard to Madison's house.

"Why on earth would I tell Gwen?" Madison asked.

"I mean your real mom, Janine." Justin said with a laugh.

"Oh umm... No i haven't yet. I'll have to call her" Madison said remember Janine was her mom.

They reached Madison's house and her answering machine was beeping. The first thing she did was feed Princess. Then she walked over to the answering Machine and hit the 'play' button.

"Hey Maddy, It's Becca, Where are you girly?!? Ok Well call be back because you're never gonna believe what happened... Matt proposed!! I'm like so stoked it isn't even funny, can you believe it! of course you should! I'm not saying this to make you sadder I just had to tell you, so call me back! Bye!"

"Well looks like she's gettin' married too" Justin laughed.

"Madison, it's Gwen I heard you were getting married or whatever. and all i have to say is how can you be so cold hearted? she was your cousin and you stole her..." Madison pushed the skip button.

"I really don't need to hear that" Madison said.

"Madison, Hey it's Elise I was wondering if you were done with those articles yet. You said you might not come to work on Monday so give me a call I need them very important. Bye"

"End of messages" The machine said.

"Who's Elise?" Justin asked.

"Another editor" Madison said.

"Oh jeez I have to go feed Prince I'll be back in a bit ok" Justin said and gave her a kiss, then he walked out the door. Madison decided to call Janine.

"Hello?" Janine answered.

"Hey Janine it's Madison."

"Oh Hey Maddy. Where are you? I heard the wedding was cancelled." Janine said.

"I'm at home. Yeah Marie's and Justin's wedding was cancelled because now we're gonna get married" Madison said with a light smile.

"Oh wow that's wonderful" Janine said. "Congradulations"

"Would you prefer it if i called you 'Mom'?" Madison asked curiously.

"I would feel comfortable with whatever you want. You don't have to call me mom because i know i might not actually feel like your mother, but yeah i would like it if you did. No one is forcing you to" Janine said.

"Ok. Well I just wanted to let know that I'm getting married and I didn't actually leave like everyone thought I did" Madison said.

"Ok Honey don't worry about it. Congradulations. Looks like you got what you wanted didn't you? I told you anything was possible. I'm very happy for you. Justin is a nice young man" Janine said.

"Ok well i have to go. Bye... Mom" Madison said she was hesitant to call her mom and it was odd but she wanted it.

"Ok Bye honey" Janine said and hung up. Madison hung up with a smile on her face.
