| "What?!?!" Leighanne said in shock. "I don't know, it's just that when I'm around him I get this weird feeling, and I don't know what to do" Holly said. "Wow, have you told Nick" Leighanne asked. "How do I tell him, 'Oh Nick I'm falling in love with you'" Holly said sarcastically. "Ok, well are you going to tell him" was Leighanne's next question. "I don't know" Holly said worried about what she should do. "Have any suggestions?" "Not really" Leighanne said. "Thanks, well I should go, need call Nick and see what's going on" Holly said. Nick had to announce on live television that he kept the secret of him having a daughter for 2 years. He wasn't ready. Holly was flying to New York for moral support. He wanted his best friend there. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Welcome everyone it's Monday and were starting out a brand new week of TRL" Carson said when TRL started. "Today we have Nick Carter talking about his 2 year old daughter, I believe he has some thing to say, and of course we have your top ten." Nick sat in the green room with Holly and Chelsi. Chelsi was coloring in a coloring book. Spending about 5 seconds on page then moving on to the next. Nick was working on his own picture to help calm down his nerves. Holly tried to calm him down, but it was no use. "Man I can't do this, the fans are going to hate me." Nick said worried. "Nick don't worry, if there true fans they'll be fine with it, plus it wasn't your fault." Holly reasured. "Yeah, but do they know that" Nick said. "We'll find out soon" Holly said. "Nick your on after the break, ready" Said a TRL crew member. "Yeah" Nick got up and walked to the stage. "And were back with Nick Carter." Carson said. "So Nick what happened, you knocked up some chick" "You make it sound way worse then it is." Nick said wanting to get this over with. "Then what happened?" Carson persisted. "Well it was 2 years ago and I was with my girlfriend, I had just proposed to her. I come back a month later ready to plan a wedding when she told me she was pregnant." Nick started and tried to fight back tears. "We talked to the record company who told us not to tell anyone. I was young nieve and listened." "If you could have told everyone would you have?" Carson asked. "Not a doubt in my mind. Chelsi, my daughter, means a lot to me, and I want the fans to know that. I would have told everyone if I could" Nick said. "Ok we'll be back with Nick, we're going to go to a break." Carson said. Holly stood behind the audience watching holding Chelsi, watching Nick the whole time. She was so proud of him. Holly knew she wouldn't have had the guts to do what he just did. Nick stood up and walked towards them. "Daddy!" Chelsi yelled and lunge toward him, so he would hold her. He took her from Holly, and Chelsi held up a picture she colored. "Like?" "Yes, very pretty." Nick said. "You got one minute Nick" said the crew member. "Chelsi you want to go on TV?" Nick asked not knowing why. Maybe if fans saw her he knew how much he loved her. "Yeah!" Chelsi said. Nick walked with Chelsi back onto the stage. "and were back with Nick Carter, and a little someone, Hi" Carson said. Chelsi looked at him, blushed and burried her head in her dad's chest. "She's shy." Nick said. "I see." Carson said. Nick talked with Carson the rest of the show, and felt relieved for the first time Chelsi was born. No more hiding, no more lieing. It was nice. After the show Nick walked to the green room. "Feel better?" Holly asked. "More than you can imagine." Nick replied. |
