| "So... Chris where did you go that night in New York when we had the night off? I mean everyone else was gone." Justin asked and grinned at Sade, as they sat in the 'Game Room' which was set up at every venue. "I went to eat, then stayed in and watched movies." Chris said not looking up from his video game. "Alone?" Sade asked with a grin. "No" He said flattly. "Then with who?" Justin asked. "Riley" Chris mumbled. "Who?" Justin and Sade said at the same time. "Riley" He said clearly. "Ooh does Chris have the hotts for someone?" Justin said in a girly voice. "No" He answered plainly. "are you sure? 'Cause you know you guys are both single and..." Sade trailed off. "Nope, She isn't my type. Plus she's our manager" Chris pointed out. "What do you mean 'Not your type'?" Justin asked. "I don't know. Doesn't she seem ditzy to you?" Chris asked. "A bit" Sade answered, Justin agreed. "See. I could never date someone who's ditzy." He said. "So you're saying you aren't in the least bit attracted to her?" Sade asked. "Yeah, that's what i'm saying." Chris said. "You don't even think she's pretty?" Justin asked. "No, Pretty she definitely is, but with a pound and a half of make up who isn't? Now that i think about it she wasn't wearing make up that night and she was pretty but... yeah I guess she's pretty" Chris concluded. "Oh so you do like her?" Justin said. "Jusitn i'm not 12 years old anymore. If I like someone it isn't for their looks" Chris said. "Ok whatever." "Can we just drop it? I don't like her. Atleast not like that." Chris said and continued playing his game. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brooke walked down the hall of the venue. Johnny was busy so she wasn't needed and had nothing to do. She decided to go 'exploring.' Brooke spotted Kristin struggling down the hall with some large bags and she hurried over to help her. "Need some help?" Brooke asked. "Yeah" Kristin said and handed her a bag. "What is this stuff?" Brooke asked. "Fan Mail" Kristin replied and let her to a room full of mail. "Do they read all this stuff?" Brooke asked. "Some of it. We have to sort through it first before it gets to them." Kristin said. "Oh" "Wanna help?" "uh... sure" "Ok all you gotta do is open them make sure nothing lethal is in them quickly skim it and that's it. " Kristin explain. "Um ok" Brooke said. "If there is something bad in any of them just give it to me" "Ok" Brooke said and Kristin handed her a big pile of letters and packages. She searched through about 50 envelopes, all of them seemed to be from devoted fans expressing their undying love for their favorite member. The she came across something with no return adress. She opened it. "Riley i'll be right back. Johnny just called he needs me." Kristin said. "Ok" Brooke said and Kristin walked out. Brooke opened the letter and read it: I'm dark as night but clear as water. I'm all around you but far away. Watching your every move. Sleep with one eye open. I'm everywhere. Love, ME She quickly read it over twice then shoved it in her pocket. She had to show Moor or someone! |
