| Hi! My name is Michelle. I live in northern Illinois and love animals! I grew up around animals my whole life, in the past we had cows, goats, sheep and of course rabbits and chickens. I have been breeding rabbits since I was 8 (with my parents and older siblings help). I first rabbit was a Californian named Zuma. I began to fall in love with rabbits and later in the year I went to a fair and I got my first Fuzzy lop, and man...I was in love! His name is James Bond and he is one of the sweetest rabbits I have ever met! James started me getting into breeding Fuzzy lops. I bought a tort doe and had her for a year or 2 for James, but she wouldnt produce and I was forced to sell her. I later moved onto a black doe (Chelsey). She produced but for some reason always rejected her babies. She would throw them out of the nest and scratch them up and start to eat them. I figured since she can produce it is worth one last try before I have to sell her. That last try was all I needed! She later had a litter of 2! One of the babies was a peanut (huge head small body, had no chance of living.) he lived for about 4 days and he passed away. The other baby survived and at his first show he took BOS (Best Opposite Sex). He was only 12 weeks old! At that moment I knew that this lil bunny would take me far.
