Why?
Sitting here thinking of your face
The world keeps spining and I'm in the middle
standing on my head to impress you

But I don't impress you
I'm not physically perfect, so I have no chance
I'm just not enough for you

Your big blue eyes, hide your lies
of feelings you can't explain
Feelings for me you wont admit

You don't, you can't, you've been hurt before
by girls, they tease and abuse you
leading you on a string, until all you know is pain

But I am the answer to all of your pain
I could be, if you let me, if you'd try
I maybe the one, the one you need

What would they say? If you accepted me?
for who I am? For what I may become?
And all the world could see, would you be embarrassed of me?

Those faceless people who don't even matter
Do they know you? Do you know them?
Why so worried? Why care? Why bother?

You shouldn't, but I do, I care for you!
