| Rhyme:1 Verse:1 What do people dis-like the most? I cant tell you that, but i can tell you that i dis-like fake people. People who dress one way, act one way, look one way, but honestly, thats not who they are. Im not one to label, but i think i can label people that i know to be fake as posuers. Its not that i hate the person, i just wish they were themselves, not trying to be others. I mean spending all your money at Hot Topic (c) doesnt make you 'punk', 'goth', or 'skater'. Likewise for those who stay up with trends. TRENDS SUCK. Lets have some people that make their own 'trends' for themselves, and dont care who agrees or disagrees with it. Trend followers are in my terms "Sheep," cause just like a heard of sheep, they follow eachother around, looking alike, doing what the others do. (Not to be beating up on sheep:P) All i want is for people to be themselves, not try to be others, or follow the heard. Am i asking too much? ### Ever know someone for the longest time, you dont even have to like them to know them, but you knew what their like, hobbie wise and style...(etc)... then one day they totally change. They now label themselves as what they are wearing. Its people like that that make me want to scream "CLOTHES DONT MAKE THE PERSON" Honestly people, lets be liked for how we act towards others, not what we look like. ### A great example of the topic this week is.....Avril. Now im sure im going to get alot of hate by this, but does avril really SOUND "punk". If you asked me, id say she sounds pop. But because of what sells now-a-days, she dresses "punk" and acts like a totally bad-ass skater. Avril, id like to see you do one trick on that skateboard of yours, or how about this, strum me a little song on your guitar, lets pick something your bad-ass level.....twinkle twinkle little star? I wouldnt be so mean if she only was herself. I feel that shes doing what mtv and her manager tells her......but honestly, it isnt working. |
