Outside the Window
Screams of pain and shear terror tore through the silent airwaves of a warm spring day. The screams echoed and caused chaos in the environment that they now invaded: ricocheting off of the out door life, penetrating the staid walls of a perfect white building, landing on an unsuspecting ear, and reverberating its message through out the hollows of an innocent dreamers head. The dreamer stirs slightly, as if tortured by a restless thought, and nearly wakes as the screaming persists just outside the window. The dreamer looks not out the window to see the pain, but great canvases of pain are brought before the dreamers eyes: a girl standing outside the window her eyes scarred from the hate of the world, crying tears of blood, she chokes on a lack of compassion, and lets out a gut wrenching scream knowing she only contributed to this deficiency of love. The dreamer lets the thought slip away, while the pain just outside the window continues, and falls gently back to sleep, forgetting the whole scene.
