Over the last 30 years Punk has become either a threat to civilization, a big fucking joke or an alternative to the sad state of pop music. It's been documented in films, books and on record by 3 generations and counting. It has become a parody as well as big business. Punk has had more rejuvenation's and more new messiahs than any other cult in existence. But whatever we think of it, it will just not go away. This page will be incorporating some of it's effects on mainstream culture and on the punk culture itself.
