Lets start with Mrs. Figg. She is not Crockshanks. I repeat she is not Crockshanks. Reasons why: Crockshanks is a male. And second of all, Sirius said that Crockshanks is the cleverest of his kind. If you look up in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, there us an animal called a Kneazle. This animal looks like a cat and is know for its cunningness. There is also a bit about being able to guide their master home no matter where they are. I believe the Crockshanks is a Kneazle and guiding home will come into play later on in the books
But getting back to Mrs. Figg, who we can assume is Abrella Figg (one of the old gang). When hair visits her house, he repeated says that it smells of cabbage. Can you think of something else that smells like cabbage in the wizarding world? The polyjuice potion. I think that there are many witches and wizard taking turns watching Harry in the muggle world. They all take the potion to look like the old lady Figg (so that muggles dont get nervous with many different people coming and going. That would be too suspisous). I think that Abrella Figg is one of the witches who watches Harry out of debet to James and Lily.
There also is another time when Mrs. Figg comes up. During the fourth book, Harry says that the tent that Mr. Weaslely borrowed from Perkins (a co-worker) is furnished exactly like Mrs. Figgs house. Now you have to wonder, why make that connection? I think that since Aurthor Weasleys job does not taken a lot of people, Perkins is one of the wizards who pretend to be Mrs. Figg.
Okay, so far this all works out. Do you really think that Dumbledore would actually leave Harry without some form of pertection, or the very least someone to keep a watch on him? These witches and wizards who are guarding Harry could possibley be his secret keepers. The only problem with this part of my theory is that we do not know if more then one person can be a secret keeper. Hopefully we will find out the mystery soon!!
Next Rumor: The Speical Admirer Who Dies
Well it could be a couple of people. Hagrid is suspected (Hagrid loves Harry). Dobby, Ginny and Colin Creevy too (the obvious Harry Potter Fan Club members). Maybe even Snape (he does admire Harry to a certain extent and wouldnt that be a shocker!!). Yet still others believe Mrs. Weasley (she loves Harry and always thinks of him foundly no matter what he does)..And dont forget Neville Longbottom (he probably worships Harry in secret because Harry is always helping him).
A Whole New Area:
Wellity, wellity, wellity. A whole new place. Some say it will be Azkaban, or maybe a wizarding school. Personally I think it will be the Ministry of Magic. Why else would J K Rowling tells us all the differnet departments?
Ghosts:
Why do people become ghosts? Why dont others? So far there is no clues on how or why, but I have to wonder if it isnt something like the Sixth Sense. Maybe the ghosts stay around because they dont know who, how or why they were killed, but thats just our thoughts on it.
The Unexpected Dursleys:
What could possibley unexpected from the normal, usual, predictable Dursleys? Well maybe Aunt Petunia is a squib. Jealouslyof not being a witch is one thing, but wouldnt it make her blood really bubble if she had the right blood (no pun intended), and not the talent? It certainly could spark just a little hatred.
Or maybe the Dursleys are more invovled with the wizarding world than we know. They might know of protections that Dumbledore has arragned for Harry. ((This is going to push it, but just read on..)) Maybe they always kept him home, so that he was safe. It plausable.
Female DADA:
Arabella Figg is a common choice for DADA teacher, or maybe Fleur Delacour (she did say that she wanted to get a job at Hogwarts to learn better English. But will the fact that she couldnt even complete the Second Task get in the way of the job oppertunity? I am going to say no. Tricky J K Rowling never puts in information in the books that is useless. Whether Fleur comes on as DADA this year or in upcoming years as one of the Professors, she will indefinitely be seen as a teacher in 5, 6, or 7.
The Tests between Right and Easy:
Ron = I think that the fact the Mirror of Erised showed that he wants to stand apart from his brothers is a pivital part of book 1. Also Ron is poor and is extremely embarassed by it. Ron might be tempted with riches, power, and fame, since he feels that he lacks all these things. Ron also loved the attention he got when Sirius Black "almost murdered him" in book 3. These are Rons weakest points and those will be the ones that the dark side will use in attemps to ensnare him.
Percy = Now you have to wonder about Percy. He is weak, subserviant, and is a work-aholic. He also is constantly made fun of. Arent the quite ones usually the people who go on those shooting sprees? I dont trust Percy fully, and am scared of what he might do later on in the books.
