Noodles
and Dexter Holland

The Offspring are one of the most well known punk bands and, along with Green Day, are often attributed as being one of the bands that broke punk into the mainstream back in 1994. They have now sold over 37 million albums worldwide. They have just released their 7th album but their first without former drummer Ron Welty. Welty left to start a new band, Steady Ground. Josh Freese (The Vandals, A Perfect Circle) drums on the record but Atom Willard, formerly of Rocket From The Crypt, has been drafted in as Welty's permanent replacement.
Both
Noodles and Dexter favour Ibanez guitars, although Noodles prefers the Talman
for its vintage feel and Dexter plays an RG.
Both play custom shop guitars. Noodles' is an Ibanez Talman covered in duct
tape and is available to buy. Dexter's is an Ibanez RG, although I'm not sure
what model, and unfortunately, 'cos it's a nice guitar, is not currently available
to buy. Both of them play through Mesa/Boogie amps, although this may have
changed. For an up to date equipment list check out the band's official website,
which you can access through the links page.
