| You guys have probably know about Mandy (Amanda Leigh Moore) since back in 1999 when she was just 15 and touring with BSB and NSYNC and her video 'Candy' was on TRL. Since then, Mandy has released three albums, 'So Real'-- her debut album, featuring 'Candy' and 'Walk Me Home,' then she recorded 'I wanna Be With You' which features the title track and also a lot of remixes from the So Real album. Mandy's 3rd self-titled album was recently released and features the hit songs 'In My Pocket' and 'Crush.' Mandy is 17 now and is recognized by many people as a very talented, successful young star. Mandy began taking singing lessons when she was 10, and she knew she wanted to be a performer since she was just 6. After her parents let her start taking voice lessons, she also started singing the national anthem at big events in her hometown- Orlando, Florida. A lot of people called her the "National Anthem Girl." Mandy got a record deal when a couple producers heard her sing at a game and were interested in working with her. She made a demo and pretty soon she got a record deal. One of the first songs that Mandy wrote is from her latest self-titled album, it's called 'When I Talk To You.' Mandy co-wrote it with her guitarist, Matthew Hager, while she was touring and on the road. The song is mainly about having close relationships with people and how certain people prove to be true friends. Mandy was in the movie 'The Princess Diaries' and is now starring in 'A Walk To Remember' with Shane West. The movie will debut in theaters on January 25 and the soundtrack is in stores on January 15, 2002. The movie is based on the best-selling novel written by Nicholas Parks, and was shot in North Carolina. The film is directed by Adam Shankman. The soundtrack to 'A Walk To Remember' features Mandy's song 'Cry.' Mandy will be at the Mann's Chinese Theater in Hollywood on Jan. 23, 2002 for the priemiere of the movie.
