I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your baby. It's too bad it happened, but what's done is done. I'm sorry I may seem non-chalant about it, but you can't change that. Now as far as you deserving punishment--we all deserve punishment. The Bible makes it very clear that a sin is a sin, and that nothing is unforgivable. There is only one sin listed in the Bible as unforgivable, and that would be blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. It is my belief that it was only possible to commit this sin when Jesus walked the earth. You can read about it here.
So, since you have accepted Jesus to be your savior, your sins are forgiven. What your are feeling is guilt, which is unhealthy. I suggest you seek counseling with a pastor to help you overcome your feelings. If your pastor is a loving person of God like he/she should be, they won't look down upon you for your actions, but will lift you up in love. I'd like to help you more, but the internet offers little warm compassion--far less than you need right now. For once I can tell somebody that I actually know what you're going through because I know the pain of abortion. My pain from the loss of my baby was probably the single most reason I created PunkRawkBible.
You've taken a wonderful first step toward healing, but I definitely think you need to seek counseling for a personal touch.
