| The band actually started back at the
beginning of the year 1998 as Over and out. Without any real equipment,
band was at that time: Matjaz on guitar, Metod on drums, Domen on bass
and Urban behind the microphone. At the beginning they all learned how
to play their instruments, because they were all total beginners except
Matjaz. After a couple of month Simon joined the band on another guitar.
We started to practice a little bit more seriously, writing our own music,
at the time influnced by bands like : minor threat, misfits, smut peddlers...
We didn`t record any demos, but thanks to Not the same and THC we got
to play few koncerts around the country. In the year 99 Domen left us
to join some straight edge band, so he was replaced by Jure - a former
bass player of band called C.O.R., which broke up at that time. Few month
later Urban had to go to army and completely lost interest of singing
and so we struggled without a singer for a while. Problems were lining
up, so we practically broke up. At the beginning of 2000 we decided to
try once more, but this time more organized. At first we just played covers
to get a hand of one another and then started to make our own songs. The
whole wiev of band and band members changed, so we changed our hardcore
to more punk rock sound in the vein of bands like adolescents, D.I., spermbirds,
circle jerks.... We felt that we were no longer the band we used to be,
so we also decided to change our name, searching for something that would
describe us and our music, so Metod came up with Rampage. At first Metod
and Matjaz were changing on vocals, but it became clear that drummer must
poit all his energy into drumming to be accurate and so Matjaz took over
lead vocals completely. In september 2000 we recorded our first demo tape,
with help of Matej Ocepek(NTS), which has 6 song of our own and 4 covers.
