He kissed her sweet lips, softly. "Now go. Before anyone sees us."
"Dammit Draco! Just take a minute, and look around at all this!" She said breathily while gesturing at the chaotic mess around her. "Noone gives a flying monkey's ass if we're together!"
He chuckled softly. "I love it when you get all feisty," said he, while biting her neck. She emitted a small squeak.
"Well, Happy Valentine's day, love," she purred. "I suppose I should go." She gave him a quick kiss, before turning around and quickly walking away. Toying with him.
"Ginny, wait," he said hungrily, pulling her back for a deeper kiss. "Stay with me tonight."
"Draco, you know I can't. Hermione'll notice for sure if I'm not in the common room. And the girls in my dorm will be awful suspicious if I'm not in my bed again tonight."
"But it's my last year here, and every moment I spend with you is precious." He pouted, and continued, almost whining. "I don't want you to leave. I want you to -"
"Hello? Is anyone here?" Interrupted a high-pitched voice.
Ginny swiftly turned and disappeared behind a tapestry as she heard Draco's low, drawling voice answer the squeaky one.

Ginny sighed.
"What's wrong?" Hermione, being the attentive one she is, asked her best friend. Ginny's been acting really strange lately, Hermione thought.
With what was obviously a fake smile, Ginny replied with a half-hearted "Nothing" before meandering out of the common room.
Hermione followed the younger girl into her dorm.
"Ginny, I don't know why you're not telling me what's bothering you! I don't know why your best friend shouldn't what's going on!" But, she abruptly stopped yelling when she noticed the tears beginning to well in Ginny's eyes.
"It's so hard. Having to hide the one thing that makes you truly happy. Especially when you have to hide it from your best friend."
To this, Hermione walked quickly to the other girl and began to stroke her hair and comfort her. "It's alright, sweetie. I'll always be here to listen if you need anything."
"But you won't! You're leaving Hogwarts at the end of this year! And then I have to spend a whole year without the only two people I really care about!" Ginny looked horrified at what she had just said. Hermione knew that Ginny wasn't very close to her brother. And she couldn't talk to Harry about anything. So who was this other person? The person hadto be a seventh year. But who could it be?
Hermione began to piece it together. "You've found someone. Haven't you." It wasn't a question, merely a statement. At Ginny's nod, Hermione continued. "He's a seventh year. And he must be someone I wouldn't like. Why else wouldn't you tell me?"
"I wanted to! Believe me, I did. But I couldn't. I...I just couldn't. But, I suppose I can tell you now." Ginny motioned for Hermione to sit on her four-poster bed with her. "It all started..."
...In the middle of my fourth year. Harry was busy with Cho and you were busy with Viktor. And Ron was off screwing Oliver *Hermione looked shocked*, so I was a bit alone. So, one day, I was just walking around the castle. Somehow, I ended up down by the dungeons. I was walking down one hallway, and about to enter one of the dungeons when I heard footsteps. Out of the room I was just about to walk into came Draco...I mean, Malfoy. He was scared out of his wits when he almost walked out of the room into me.
"I wasn't expecting to see anyone down here." He said. Without the usual snarl, I might add. It turns out, he was just walking around the dungeons trying to be alone. We started talking and...
"You've been with Malfoy!" screeched Hermione. "Talk about fraternizing with the enemy. What were you thinking?!?"
"That he's not all that bad of a person! See, this is why I've not been telling you. Let me finish my story!!"
So, I started walking down there more often, hoping to run into him, and he began to do the same. We ended up meeting down in the dungeons every weekend and occasionally after class. He became one of the few people I could really talk to. Then we started getting a little...closer. He kissed me, the last weekend before summer that year. So, we spent most of the train ride home together. In a compartment towards the back of the train. And for the past, almost year and a half, we've been together like that. Hiding. I love Draco Malfoy. And I don't want him to leave.
Hermione looked shocked. And for the first time in her life, she was speechless.

Draco was sick of all the intrusions. He knewsomeone would have noticed them there. Even though everyone elsewas having fun in the great hall and they were around a corner, someone still noticed. And that someone just happened to be Dennis Creevey. He is the most annoying person to ever walk the planet,Draco thought. Dennis had had a crush on Ginny for some while and noticed when she had left the Great Hall. He had seen some activity going on a bit down the hall and went to check it out. Luckily for Draco, Dennis wasn't the smartest of the bunch, so he believed it when Draco said he was "cooling off" in the hallway and that he hadn't seen Ginny. But it was still a pain in the arse. Draco really wished Ginny had agreed to stay with him. Then the intrusion really wouldn't have mattered.

Hermione was still shocked but, after a long talk, was alright with the idea of her best friend and Draco Malfoy. Together. Now, she just wanted details. Isn't that what best girl friends are for?
Six and a half months later
On the train. Leaving for home. Their last year. Together
Hermione convinced Ron and Harry that Ginny was off sitting with some friends in her own year. They still wouldn't approve of the match.
In a compartment, concealed from everyone else by a charm, were Ginny and Draco.
"Draco, I don't know what I'm going to do without you. I can't imagine going on alone."
"You won't have to be, darling. You won't have to," as he kissed her lightly on the forehead before going down on bended knee. Ginny gasped. Draco took her hands in his own and said, "I love you, Virginia Tessa Weasley, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I'll wait until you're out of school and make amends with your family. As long as I can be with you. So, will you marry me?"
Ginny pulled him up from his knees onto her for a long, deep kiss. "Does that answer your question?"
"Yes, but I want to hear you say it."
"I love you, Draco Malfoy, and I will be your wife."
A whole section of the train was confused by squeals and giggles coming from supposedly nowhere.
And a single word can't describe the baffledness of every student as they saw Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy walking off of Platform 9 3/4. Together.
