| Formed in 2001, the band consisted of four guys. Ricky, Scott, Ted, and Josh. They started off by playing the school talent show in 8th grade as a joke. After that, they decided to keep the band going. In the years to come, the band would lose Josh. Then, at a birthday party, they had Justin come along and sing for them. It started out as just someone filling in but soon, the band had gained a new member. In late 2003, Justin picked up the bass and Ricky left the band. There were many bumps along the way, but MBD was finally set at Ted, Justin, and Scott. From there, the band started writing new material and trying to get their name out there. They have now moved from talent shows to clubs. They still do parties, but it's no longer their main attraction. In 2004, the band released a self recorded demo entitled "The Big One - EP" which they recorded with 2 mics in a basement. They artarted playing more shows and decided to talk to Chase Macri about recording a new cd. The band went to Greenvill IL to record "Burning The Candle at Both Ends" which was released March 6, 2005, at The Creepy Crawl. The band has been trying new things and have changed their style a little bit from the beginning, but have stayed true to their pop-punk sounds. |
