The beginning: |

Punk started as a way of life, a big "Fuck you" to the u.s. government. Punks were anarchists who were about rebellion and chaos, so they turned out to be pretty hardcore people. Back then people hated punks, and feared them as well, which they pretty much still do. |

The music: |

After a while Punk Bands started to form, a music band who was made up of punks, and sang of anarchy and rebellion.The music was fast and edgy. It didn't require much talent to play, but it sounded great any way. |

Nowadays people don't really care about punks. They continue to roam the streets, but not in as vast number as before. With each year there are more and more posers, but as long as the true punks are around to beat the hell out them, we're o.k. |
