works as a porter.
Punk was at its best at the beginning, the Pistols an' all. After '79 there weren't many good new groups coming along .. . Now there's some great new bands: Exploited, Anti Pasti, Vice Squad, Theatre of Hate, Crass, the Subs. I liked the music at the beginning, but I didn't start dressing up punk until after the Pistols split up. Four people I knew from school are still punks. We get our clothes from 'X-tremes' here in the Kensington Market and The Last Resort in Petticoat Lane. I just like the music and the clothes - if I still like them in five years time, yeah, I will still be a punk.
