PHV 'Featuring rare and archive footage' ha! This 40 minute documentary like it says on the box documents the tragic lows some people will stoop to sell the public inferior product in the Sex Pistols name. This is a swindle in its most negative form. No-ones a winner here, the band certainly ain't, the public most definitely ain't (just glad i never bought this) and I doubt whoever put this together will be taking an early retirement! No wonder this ain�t been authorised which is stated in the tiniest of print on the back cover��this DVD is unofficial and contains no original material by the artist�. So how the fuck do people get away with churning out this rubbish???? Send your enquiries to Plastic Head? 'In depth interviews with the people who know', do me a favour! The only fucker on here who actually knows the band is back door author Alan Parker and his usual dubious contributions are surprisingly the only bit of constructive input into this cinematic abortion. Chris Salewicz of the NME gets their names mixed up, and another old journo trips over the story he�s rapidly forgetting to tell us about. Meanwhile some young indie kid waffles on above a droning techno beat that sounds like it was swiped off some phone queue hotline. The rare archive footage from the �Swindle� et all is splashed across a really diabolical attempt at artistic direction. No music, a riddled biography and techno� AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!
