Here is a short bio: The humble beginnings of the now world renowned Single Face Roll.... it all started with founders Rob and Sash playing together in mid 2000 in their spare time, jamming out some tunes. The two worked on original material for a few months with Rob’s bro Dan (aka Helmet from Underside) filling in on the drums. They then recruited Mark (ex-FAO) on drums.

Jam sessions progressed writing new material, playing a handful of shows, and buying cheap pornography. They then recorded a two track demo CD, shortly before the sad departure of their bass player, Sash Ivanov. But Mrs. Ivanov had spoken, and that was the end.

Shortly after, SFR gained a new member. It was to be their good mate Simon Mazzei who would fill the shoes of young Sash on the bass guitar. With a change in the lineup, the band has focused on sprucing up their set, playing more shows, doing some further recordings, and always pumpin out new tunes.
