I haven't heard hardcore this good from an Aussie band for a while, okay it hasn't been that long but this EP is awesome. It pounds away at you from song one, with the quickfire Friends and Family. Then comes my favourite on the EP, the second track Choices. Cut-throat vocals which will get you going and premium guitar work make this song a killer. No Grace have already won me over with these two songs, and they continue to impress with The Best Intentions. More burning vocals and tidy guitar riffs. I also must mention the credability of the lyrics, No Grace aren't one of those hardcore bands with a death wish, they're lyrics have meaning. They pick up the pace with One Better which stops for nothing except an exalted interlude. Next is How It Is which is more good stuff with impressive tempo-changes. Closing the EP is the subtle instrumental of Open Spaces. No Grace definately have hit the nail on the head with this one, I just wish there was more god dammit.
