MxPx undoubtedly deliver the goods with this nine track EP. It reverts back to their old stylings on previous records Teenage Politics and Life in General glossed over with the polish that was applied on The Everpassing Moment. The Renaissance EP opens with Lonesome Town which warms up to the fast and furious tracks on the EP. Time Will Tell and Talk of the Town are firecharged efforts where Mike belts out fast punchy vocals. The vocals on The Renaissance EP are inch perfect to say the least. Letting Go, Don�t look Back and Struggle concentrate on the intense vocal melodies that fans of old have come to know and love over the years.
