Jimmy Eat World/Jebediah Split EP
www.redlinerecords.com.au

Now released in Australia through Redline Records is the Jimmy Eat World and Jebediah split. Both are what I call artists for the patient listener. It opens with three faultless songs from Jimmy Eat World. It's very controlled rock which pushes its own boundaries. No Sensitivity is the standard song which will interest you with its catchy chorus. They slow it down with the next song, The Most Beautiful Things, which is simply brilliant. And close it out with Cautioners, which is a very melancholy tune. Jimmy Eat World are very talented with their music (as I'm sure most have heard) so get out and give them a listen if you haven't already yet. I'm sure you'd have to indulge in a full length to feel the full effect.

Jebediah end the split with their three songs and I'm sure most, if not all, have heard these guys. It's pretty much their same soft poppy rock. So if you're a fan, or didn't mind their radio hits, I'm sure you'll get into The Less Trusted Pain Remover (which last for over six minutes) and Simple. As for the last song....gee, I don't know. Please Leave is a tranced-up disco song which features some lines from Jebediah's most popular hits like 'Screw up your life again'. You may like it. (Matthew Matanovic)
