It may only be four songs, but an extremely good listen to say the least. Dynamite Boy opens the sampler their two catchy pop-punk tunes. First is the very impressive Catching On and as the name calmly suggests, very catchy indeed. Their second is Lullaby, a poppy ballad which most would enjoy. Listening to both their songs I sense Dynamite Boy will be very big.
Junction 18 closes the sampler. Once again another great band. They have more depth with their vocals and overall a 'heavier' sound. Like Dynamite Boy, they play one up-tempo track, Granite Sheet Knife Fight, and then it slows down with their second, Sweet Steps. Great guitar work and vocals in both songs make this a treat to listen to. All in all, both these bands are great. Check out their full lengths because I think Shock have just recently cut a deal with Fearless Records for distribution in Australia.
