These boys are world renowned as one of Sweden's premier hardcore acts so I was really looking forward to listening to their latest release Calling the Public. 59 Times the Pain opens this album with the song aptly titled Rock the City. This album is 90% rock and roll leaving minimal traces of the branded 59 Times the Pain hardcore that we have found on their previous works. On very few occasions I got wound up listening to this. Class Action, Welcome to the 21st Century, and the title track Calling the Public, are solid efforts on this album, all very well done rough and tumble rock songs. But I'm sitting on the fence with this one at the moment. It's good rock and roll but I was expecting a little more.
