Let me start by staying the Skanksters are not from the Saskatoon area, so don't go looking for them! I just thought that the spirit of a "Local Bands" page was too support bands that need some advertising. I met these guys on the operation ivy guestbook, weird, but I later found out they were nice guys and I wanted to promote them. The Skanksters are a kind of ska punk band, in my opinion they sound like Operation Ivy, but even so, they are sweet. Their guitarists can really anhilate you, same with their bass player and drummer. I love the vocals because they are fast and they make you feel like you've been slapped in the face by the hottest girl in the universe, which is totally rad. I really enjoyed this band the first time I heard them. My favorite song by the Skanksters is "Radio Blastin". Check these guys out at http://theskanksters.tk
