Kid Dynamite
They would have to use dynamite to stop me from listening to Kid Dynamite.  Anyway, Kid Dynamite are from Phillidelphia, and in my opinion, they created the scene around there, or at least contributed to it.  I first heard about them because I used to love None More Black,  Jason Shevchuk's (vocals) current band.  I heard some of their songs and I was intrigued...  Their songs are fast, great for moshin', and Jay has a very raspy voice which makes him sound like he's incredibly mad at something.  The guitar riffs are pretty rad, except they have a tendency to sound the same.  They have 3 full length albums; "Kid Dynamite",  "Shorter, Faster Louder" and "Cheap Shot Youth Anthem"..  I would recommend them all, they own huge.  They also did a split with 88 Fingers Louie.  Like anything Kid Dynamite related, it owned.  Their name is derived from, of course, the WWF superstar, The Dynamite Kid.  So, with completely rad vocals, and a title that is named after the Tag-Team world champion, Dynamite Kid, you'd think a winning combination like that could outlast the test of time, but, alas, Kid Dynamite has split up to pursue other projects.  The "other projects" that i speak of are None More Black, Curse, Lifetime, and Paint It Black.  Check them out if you've listened to Kid Dynamite for a long time and you need something new with a similar sound.   R.I.P. Kid Dynamite.
