Abrasive Wheels is one of the first 80's punkbands. They played their first show in 1977 at some house party. They released their first EP in 1982 called Riot City. The band released seven 7"s, one 12" and two LPs between 1981 and 1984. Abrasive Wheels combines the 70s punkrock sound with the 80's hardcore punk sound.They were one of the earlier bands to do this, and I think they're one of the best sounding bands to comeout of that early hardcore punk era in the 80s. I'd probably kind of compare them toInfa-riot or the Partisans, which are two other great bands.
